If we had the #4 pick....take Ferguson and run.......

Other then that trade down and get Jay Cutler, and Ngata. :D

I agree with the Ferguson pick there. OVer Hawk? Still yes. But I would love to have Vandy's Cutler as well.

Jets fans are GIDDY at the thought of Parcells being the GM of the Jets.

They want him BAD....

I don't blame them!

i know this isn't gonna be taken how it's said, but i can see parcells wanting to "go home" if he can. i think we all would given the choice. i just hope whatever he does he committs soon and ends the speculation.

Parcells is set here....
God speed a team that takes Hawk top 4. Thats insane and good for us!
Carpenter is the 3-4 score for us and will drop with injury. Some are too giddy with AJ. Schleigal at ILB a better LT prospect too!

Weaknesses: Durability is a minor concern stemming back to his high school days. Is slow to recover from mistakes in coverage. Lacks premier lower-body strength. Struggles to overcome big blockers in the running game. Is not a hole-plugger.

Bottom line: Hawk is the best linebacker in college football. He is a consistent playmaker, and opponents must account for him on every snap. His intelligence, ability and passion are textbook for a linebacker. If he can consistently handle bigger blockers in the running game and has no injuries, Hawk might be the first outside linebacker drafted. He could be a top-10 pick.

Dan Pompei analysis
Tough linebacker who always is around the ball. Has been productive for four years. Good cover 'backer with athleticism. Isn't as explosive as some

Why take a linebacker or tackle if we could get the Jets #4 pick? Wouldn't you guys rather have Vince Young with the 4th pick. He might slip a pick or two and we could nab him.

Not interested in Mooch, but I'd love AJ Hawk with that #4 pick in the Draft.
Me too.:)
Unfortunately the NFL doesn't award picks anymore for a guy switching teams.

BP could leave for a GM job because it would be a promotion if I understand correctly.

The Hawk will not land.

Carpenter is the best Pro LB on that team and the guy inside may be a day 2 score......

Dont know about Hawk, but I would use it on D'brickshaw Ferguson...

Then use the 18 on Scott or Winston....

For insurance purposes :D
