Very well thought out summary of what happened last night in Minnesota. And accurate.
I will add one thing to the mix, something I said in a previous thread. Even though the game was ugly, we won. Even though the game was ugly, I still felt like we were about to blow it wide open. Yes, I know the penalties cost us dearly, as did the fumbles we lost. But looking back on the game, Zeke did have a significant amount of room to run, at times. I do not mean to rehash a "could've, should've, would've" scenario, but had the game been cleaner, ie. fewer penalties, I think the running game was on the verge of taking off. And once that happens, it does wonders to keep a defensive line at bay and away from the QB.
In short, I saw a lot of high-powered potential last night. It gives me hope that even though so many of the sports pundits are already predicting Dallas to lose a second time to the Giants, methinks the fellas from New York are going to see a different team than the one they defeated in the opener.
We shall see who has the last laugh.
