I appreciate turning on the Television and having the blessing of being able to witness his greatness every week being a fan of this team. He is the embodiment of what it means to be dedicated to your task, and have the championship mindset. If he wins a SB people will have some kind of name for him and it will take over Mamba Mentality.

Would love to see him line up in the offensive backfield in the red-zone every now and again. Good chance he'd get you a yard or two when needed.

Parsons is unreal. Just amazing watching him effortlessly glide past OL twice his size.

Barring injury or some other unfortunate event, Parsons should go down as the greatest defender in the history of the Cowboys franchise......and we are all here to witness it from beginning to end if we choose.

I’ve always said I need to see. Results and evidence speaks volumes.

I’d also caution to don’t get too excited until we face greater teams and Elite QB’s.

But wow, what an amazing start.
I started a thread last night. Guess it didn't get any attention. How many teams do we play will very good OL.
As both NY teams OL's are suspect.

SF & Philly OL's ? SF lost one of the best OL in the NFL in FA, not sure how his replacement is doing. Purdy does get the ball out quick.
Is Philly's OL as good as advertised as seem both games, there is pressure on Hurts. Our DL is much quicker.
Detroit is supposed to have a good OL, so one announcer said in the game against KC.

Parsons in pursuit chasing down some of these QBs is crazy. That’s twice now this season he’s forced QBs into throwing bad picks (Daniel Jones to Gilmore and Wilson the Kearse).

I believe that’s what Romo called him today. It’s truly fitting. It totally disrupts and causes havoc wrecking the game for opposing team.

I’ve been following and watching Cowboy games since early 60’s and I’m not sure the Cowboys have ever had a defensive player wreck games like him. And we’ve had some great HOFers.

Parsons almost single handed can change the outcome much like Elite QB’s can. We’ve been thinking we can’t win a SB without an elite QB but maybe we can with the most Elite defensive player and possibly MVP.
Good post, if you don’t have a top tier QB you have to have a elite D with a generational defensive player like MP to this point. Many have said this and as long as the D plays at this level. Jerry has finally figured out that it takes a great D to win when it counts when you don’t have the elite QB and it looks like MM finally understands that too. Let the D dominate and make sure your QB doesn’t try to do more than he’s capable of. Dominate D and a bus driver O can go very far. DQ is the most valuable coach and if this D can maintain its dominance this team should go far.

I watched Randy White, Charles Haley and Demcarcus Ware in my years. I've never seen a guy take a game over like Parsons does...every...week.
I think Charles Haley was better than Lawrence Taylor

Whatever happened to that tight end. LMAO oh, I don’t even remember his name. Or what team he went to. The draft argument, Parsons or him

I think Mike Murray always understood that. We didn’t have a Dan Quinn. I think that was the issue all along. Coaching.

What's funny about both those picks was WHY the QBs threw them. In both cases they were outside the pocket and could have flipped the ball harmlessly out of bounds. But they were SO scared of this fire breathing monster bearing down on them they lost their minds and put the ball in play .... One can only laugh at the insanity of it.

Yeah, he is absurdly good. He has changed the way I watch football. Now I look at him before and after the snap. Instead of the usual QB dropping back.

He's arguably LT level.
I think he is at LT’s level right now. Opposing offenses are trying to design game plans around him and it’s not working. He’s dominating.

Whether he can stay in the LT conversation for 5-6 more years is another story.

Not sure it was MM who figured this out, I hate to say it but I think it was Jerry. The upgrade of the D was a draft pick that Dallas lucked into and DQ and Jerry realized the importance of his dominance. MM coaching picks are dismal and based on the buddy system. The main thing is that for the first time in a long time this team is balanced and has a legitimate shot at winning with excellent talent at every position.

I like Quinn and he is a fine coach but Parsons would make anyone look like a genius. It has been shown over and over that talent makes great coaching not the other way around.

This is what they meant this summer when they said Parsons could wreck a whole practice by himself. The offense couldn't even practice because he was blowing up every play.
