I don't disagree but this is why Brady if a certain first year of eligibility unanimous inductee to the HoF. Not many teams have the right combination of players to stop him. My point is if Parsons comes up the middle they will keep Fournette in to block, or they will dump the ball off to him. If they line Micah up in the middle, my guess is the Bucs will suspect he is blitzing from there and keep a RB in to pick him up or even use an offensive lineman to get him. My point is, if the keep a blocker in to stop Micah, then there has to be an opening somewhere else which can be exploited.
Agreed, it has to be implemented properly, like at times making it look like Parsons (Mike) is coming, but bring Wilson or Bland from the outside instead and drop Parsons into coverage. The Cowboys can do a number of things to keep pre snap look different from what is actually coming. I do not suggest just sending Parsons on inside blitzes all game.

The issue with me is Quinn has become too predictable with Micah. yes you can move him around, but if you rush him every single time you do it defeats the purpose. I want to see him used more in a hybrid role, moved around a little more. he doesn't need to rush every play.
please show us your DC credentials, as if you know more then DQ and somehow, he forgot how to coach, lots of injuries and missing payers has created the biggest issue on defense. hes trying to get back to where we were the first 8 games and that experimenting is leavig some holes in some games.. however, i trust in one and done type deal getting Hankins, LVE back and hopefully a motivated team get us right

If the Cowboys can't get a push up the middle on Brady, the blocking scheme will take Parsons wide and Brady will have a field day climbing the pocket. I hope Quinn moves Parsons around Monday Night with a good dose at MLB.
He really hasn't MLB in 2022. When he plays LB is is normally OLB. LVE is the Mike.

With only 2 LBs on the field it's not always obvious which one is the Mike but generally it is LVE or Barr when LVE is out.

Parsons last played LB in the Packers game.

I agree that Parsons at LB instead of DE might be a good option vs the Bucs.

Brady really challenges LBs in coverage.

Also, the Bucs like to spread out the defense horizontally. They use outside runs and passes in the flat area to spread out the LBs & SS and to pull up CBs in zone coverage.

As soon as any defenders start cheating to up or to the outside, Brady will always see it and hit a quick pass in the weak area.

If Parsons stays at DE, they need a good game from Clark because he has the sideline to sideline speed to get to the outside without having to cheat over.

If they play Barr next to LVE instead of Clark, then Quinn better have a scheme to hide Barr's lack of range.

It's a tradeoff for Quinn between Barr and Clark.
- Barr sees what's coming but has limited range.
- Clark has the range but is sometimes a tick late in recognition.

The other option is Parsons at DE but give outside contain responsibility on Parsons side to a LB or SS to allow Parsons freedom to rush inside. Both directly inside and stunting inside.

The performance of Sam Williams, Armstrong and Fowler will have some impact on how they use Parsons.

2023;
If Sam Williams (consistently) performs up to his physical ability, Parsons might move back to LB. Most of Parsons sacks in 2021 were as a LB.
