It was good to see Parsons back but I've been puzzled all season on why they decided to put a LINEBACKER as now a defensive end. When he was still a LINEBACKER he sometimes dropped back in coverage and the offense never knew for sure when that was. He also lined up any where along the defensive line but now being a DEFENSIVE END he is ALWAYS lined up against offensive linemen who greatly out weigh him and he sack numbers per game are WAY DOWN I thing largely because of the size difference. I watched a report back at the start of the season and a former NFL player was making the very same point about moving a LINEBACKER to defensive end.

he’s top like three in the league in sacks as a de. is it a long term viable solution, probably not. but his sacks aren’t “way down”

A 40lb PeeWee football RB could average 4 yards per carry against Parsons.
