Parsons' closing speed

It is crazy the amount of speed MP exhibits when he gets going.
Prime example is the "sack" of Herbert. He was moving almost laterally and then when he accelerated upfield toward Herbert, it looked like the film was put in fast forward. He literally shot out of a cannon and got to Herbert in amazing time.
O-Tackles will have a hard time getting hands on him especially when he has a little space between them and he can cross in front of the or blast by them when more heads up.

Something like .74 seconds.

It is really unbelievable how quickly he moves and how immediate he gets up to speed.

I said it right before training camp: Parsons moves, turns, runs, accelerates and has the athleticism of a cornerback… except he’s 6-3, 245.

I’ve never seen anything quite like it.

If the team continues to use him to his strengths, he’s going to be a superstar very, very soon, and yes, he has the talent to eventually end up in a gold jacket.

I don't think he has 4.3 speed based on what I've seen but its clear he may be one of the fastest on defense.
