News: Parsons: 'College football is a joke'

Micah's right, but best believe he'd also be chasing the money in college.

Oh, and the Tennessee kid messed around and found out. Tennessee dumped him today.
Wow, did not see that. But just looked it up.
Wasn't all that great anyway IMO, from what little I seen from him, especially against the Buckeyes.

Oh shut up Micah. They deserve to be paid. They make billions off a product and all they were giving kids was free meal plans.

Maybe they could’ve made all that money and put it back into the communities that were supporting them. But how it was going was robbery.

Micah you said Penn State taught you character? You want to revisit those hazing allegations you learned there?

Micah's right on this.
No, what he is, is jealous,

because he didn't get paid when he played well that we know of l O L wink.. But sure I'm not going to listen to the video or read much guys who are not really that good demanding this kind of money and they're staying in school to steal money from other students because they're not going to probably have any good career in the NFL they can make more now than they probably will as a rookie in the NFL....

Don’t blame the kid at all, but very happy to see Tennessee have the ballz to actually say you ain’t the boss, We Are! FAFO is so wonderful.

Good for them........they did it w/o having a reliable backup. From what I have heard, they (the rest of the CFB schools ) blackball him.

I don’t at ALL see how introducing millions of dollars available to give to players supposedly REDUCES corruption.

Doubtful. Probably much worse. Maybe someone can offer a side I’m not seeing.

The gap between the ‘haves and have nots’ continues to widen.

I don’t really follow college sports but it does seem as if many, many of them…in football and basketball…transfer from school to school as if they are pro free agents on one year deals.

Maybe if more colleges did this, it would send a message to these players "holding out". This ain't the NFL!!
I'm not sure this is the same thing.........I don't think Tenn had a problem as long as he was willing to honor his agreed 4-year $8m deal. The problem is he wanted a new agreement doubling that amount AND was trying to use the spring game as leverage.

Poor advice.......
