Too old.....in other words, he's done
"Right now" (as you originally said this is about) Rodgers has more TD's, less Int's, more passing yards, and a better quarterback rating than Mahomes. And he is dealing with a kicker who has single-handedly lost the Jets three games.

So which is it, their QB play "right now", skins on the wall, or age? I am seriously trying to keep up with your ever-changing landscape.

And for the record, I agree Rodgers is done, but he does fit at least one of the first two of your criteria as well, if not better than the other two (Mahomes in play right now, Stafford in skins on the wall, as well as pretty much up there with QB play "right now").

Dak is a bus driver masquerading as a franchise QB. He fooled a lousy GM/owner with his PR facade (just like Garrett) for two big pay days that he was never worth.

If the NFL monopoly was actually a competition driven business where the profits of each team was tied to its success in the league, JJ the “genius” businessman would look like an even bigger putz and people would be wondering how he made money to buy the team in the first place. But that man would’ve fired the GM a long time ago.

One of the best attributes people can live by is honesty.

No sugar coating.

No appeasing.

Tell it like it is.
So you're saying by the rules at the time, Dez did not catch it in Green Bay. Finally, folks are seeing the light. 10 years later and all, but progress is progress.

I think we can agree he’s not playing very well right now and you’d hammer them if they had him on the list.

Dak should do a podcast and run off a list of 100 CBs ahead of Diggs. He would only be stating the truth as well.

I'm not defending Prescott but after this poll let's do one for top CBs and Top DEs. I don't think either guy is top ANYTHING this year. Tomorrow is November 1st and Micah has one sack. ONE. Diggs has one INT. Injury or not, these guys need to stop TALKING. Nobody is getting it done.

I hold Dak Prescott blameless. He did not fool Jerry Jones. Jones has always believed he is the ultimate talent evaluator. He supported a permanent change at the quarterback position less than two months into a never projected immediate starting, fourth-round rookie's NFL career.

Same guy wanted to prove his genius to everyone by waiving veteran Tony Banks before the Quincy Carter's rookie regular season began--even though Banks was acquired to mentor Carter. Same guy wanted to gamble on Johnny Manziel. If anyone fooled Jones about making any player/roster decision, it was himself.

True. I guess I used the wrong terminology. What I meant was, Dak was good in “selling himself” as this all about winning, good character, represents the organization well, etc., over and above his lack of talent as a franchise QB, which Jerry overlooked and bought into. Like Jerry did with PR Garrett who he labeled as the organization’s next Tom Landry.

I guess it’s not that difficult to “fool” a narcissist, especially through sycophancy, when he’s just bad at the job.
