I think that it is cool that it looks like Zimmer is actually going play him at linebacker.

Me too. I hope it wears him out less so that he can provide pressure on clear passing downs late in the game more consistently, too.

Parsons needs to play off the ball not only to improve stopping the run, but to keep him from not eating down late in the season. He will still see plenty of opportunities as a pass rusher

Don’t think Parsons will be thrilled with how Zimmer is using him if it cuts down on his sack production.
Probably not but time will tell. Either way Zimmer’s not backing down I hope.

I like the idea of Parsons moving around, as long as everybody else can hold up their end. It adds a bit of uncertainty, which usually helps the defense.

Personally I get a little confused reading how many fans don't think he's a great player.

It appears that he will play a lot more linebacker which could help them against the run and free him up to blitz the qb from different spots on the field.
This is good coz teams will have more trouble preparing for him ......
