Parsons looks good at linebacker

Don’t think Parsons will be thrilled with how Zimmer is using him if it cuts down on his sack production.

I will be surprised if we have him in coverage much. I think he'll mainly be attacking the line of scrimmage from SLB on run downs and playing end on pass downs. When he's at linebacker, we'll bring him up into gap and possibly drop out a lineman unless we want to rush five. I think the idea of Parsons attacking from all over will actually benefit his pass rush.

I’m fine with him getting some reps at linebacker but he’s an edge rusher for this team. I can’t imagine on not having him rush the passer.

The best advantage Parsons has is versatility. Lining him up at DE every down takes away a lot of his speed advantage because you know he's coming.

Parsons is such a freak talent that he will probably still get 12-15 sacks even playing more at off ball linebacker.

Some of his best pass rushing reps are when you let him use his straight line speed and quickness to devastate guards and centers inside off the blitz. Total mismatch.

I think Zim will use him correctly considering his history with players like Anthony Barr and Kendricks.

Of course he looks good at linebacker. That was his position coming into the NFL when he was being compared to Lawrence Taylor. Instead of being bumped around by a couple of 300 pounders, he has open space do the things only a gifted athlete can do.

What he may lose in sack numbers, he will gain in INT's and forced fumbles. His amazing speed was an asset that was not fully utilized.

This. It was his best season IMO. When they don’t know he’s coming it’s like a rocket exploding through the hole

I think his best position is DE. MLB needs leadership, toughness and intelligence. He lacks it all so just let him play DE to get his 15 sacks.

DE might be his worst position.
