I didn't say it was impossible. But, there's a case to be made for each statement.

Micah never got to see Rice, so from his perspective, given who CeeDee has had to work with, he may be the best WR he's ever seen.

I personally think Mahomes might have a slight edge, but I can see both sides.

You don't have to be old enough to see Jerry Rice play. CeeDee isn't as good as Jefferson or Chase. Or Tyreek Hill.

Mahomes, Allen then Burrow.

Ditto. "composure when it matters the most" is a biggy of which we are all painfully aware and Burrows/Mahomes both have it plus the arm talent to be elite,,, Mahomes just has that arm talent at a slightly higher level though.

Burrow is better than Mahomes in my opinion. Mcbabb put up crazy numbers and wins under Reid as well. Burrow dosent get the benefit of calls from the refs either.

Gimme Jerry Rice or Randy Moss. Also Mahommes or Josh Allen. Like Micah I wish Daniels was here under center every week.

You realize Parsons was 7 years old when Jerry Rice retired right? What players do you really remember when you were seven? And he was probably 4/5 when Rice was significant at all on the field.
That also means he was 13 when Moss retired. It’s entirely possible that Micah never watched Moss play that much. Sure he seen the highlight videos, but that’s not the same as growing up with him like we did.

Laugh all ya want, he’s on the verge of a 3 peat, Andy Reid was a very good coach before him but never won or became legendary status without him, and he consistently wins games that you think they’ll lose. He delivers time and time again. Swap him with Allen’s team and he would win with them.

Meanwhile burrows team is fighting for a playoff spot, Allen hasn’t been able to beat mahomes - ever in a big spot. Put mahomes on buffalo they’d be the favorite. At this point people discredit him because he’s an all time great the same way they did with Brady and other legends.

I agree with Jefferson and Chase being better. Im not sure about Hill, dude is only 30 and he wont even reach a 1000 yards this season

I love Burrow. I watched a handful of games their national title year & was impressed but wasn't really sold on the accolades he was getting. So, I went back & watched clips from the entire season and quickly understood why he was getting the respect. He is the best I have ever seen at working the pocket & getting off pinpoint accurate passes with bodies all around him. Most QB's would give up on the play & go into the fetal position.

Josh Allen is a monster. Guy who has taken his god given abilities and learned how to harness them at the NFL level. I honestly think he's just now learned how to balance his talents to what his team needs.

Having said that, Mahomes is not only the best QB currently, he's the best we have ever seen. He has all the physical & mental gifts of the other greats rolled up into one package. Yeah, you can say this guy might have a slight edge on one thing & another guy another but as a complete package, no one puts it all together like he does.

To be fair about CeeDee, he's never played with a great QB, so it's hard to compare him against receivers who have had a QB who could hit a receiver on the run.

Mahomes makes insane plays constantly. Burrows I think is now elite but he simply does not do what Mahomes does.
Having said that, Reid is the one that built the team around Mahomes. Like BB did around Brady.
It is called synergy; neither one would be as great without the other.

Micah seems like an astute student of the game. It is always difficult to say one player is the best when the margin of separation can be so small. But there is no denying Joe Burrow is a great QB playing for a bad team. Just watch him move around in the pocket. Watch him throw the football. He certainly gets my vote as the best pure QB in the NFL. What Mahomes and Allen bring to the position is not really pure QBing. but what they can do separates them from everyone else.

As far as Jayden Daniels is concerned, I caught some flack last year when I threw some cold water on all the CJ Stroud talk. QBs are not judged on 1 good season. They have to do it consistently over a period of years. Stroud looks pretty ordinary this year, doesn't he?

Daniels certainly looks special this year, but the NFL has a way of catching up with players. The great ones overcome that. What concerns me about Daniels is his stature. Can he take the pounding of a running QB year after year? or is he RG III? I won't anoint him based on 2024. I want to see him stack up a few years of this kind of performances before I put him near the top of the best QBs list.
