If all three are on the board at 10, who do you pick?

Love Parsons. Pitts is generational, similar to megatron in my opinion. Then there is the calm cool polished DB with Surtain.

I am very torn. Like all three players. If we go Pitts we better get some decent return trading Gallup.

posted in the wrong forum. Please move. Thanks!

love all 3.
all 3 instantly make us better.
forced to choose...parsons.

Trade down a few picks while picking up a late 2nd...

Then draft...

Monster DT that can do it all inside...take up double/triple teams, stop the run ..hard, penetrate frequently and go after the QB, wreak havoc inside all game long, become a game/season changer with his size (6'5", 330), strength, quickness and determination: Christian Barmore.

We can still get a very good CB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

Pitts. He’s a transcendent player who is going to be a huge problem for the rest of the league. I think he’s the best Non-QB in the draft by a pretty good stretch.

Second would be Surtain. He’s going to be very good IMO and would immediately make the Dallas secondary legit. He could be a big help in turning the Cowboys defense around.

Lastly, Parsons. Very talented and a good player already. Quinn would be able to use him in a lot of ways. I do like him... just not as much as the other two.

Not sure the "Monster DT" is there in this draft. If he is, it will be some late round, late blooming kid everyone overlooked.

Pitts. I know we're focusing too much on offense, but ...

- We just resigned Dak. He's not going anywhere so we might as well continue to build around him.
- The strength of this team is offense, so we're going to have to build ourselves to score 50+ points a game.
- A big presence like Pitts along with Zeke, CeeDee and Amari? I don't see how teams cover us.
- With all due respect to Surtain and Parsons, they aren't generational players.
- We have the draft picks to improve the defensive side of the ball after round 1.

Second would be Surtain. He's the surest defensive player on the board, IMO.

Parson? I just don't think Dallas is right for him. As a Cowboy, he'll be another Jaylon Smith, supremely talented but the comfortable surroundings of Camp Jerry has ruined him and will Parson.

Pitts will not be there, other than Lawrence going #1, that's the only thing I'm sure about in this draft. Pitts has too much buzz and by the time the draft actually gets here, he's going to be the combo DC/Marvel super hero.

Burrow is pushing for Chase, they should give him Pitts. He could be the next Ertz or Kelce and best friend to a young QB.

Between Parsons and Surtain, I pick Surtain because this secondary is mediocre at best, at least fix something. DE? OK DT? Not OK LB? OK CB? really NOT OK. S? Not OK

But then you've got the stop the run issue. But I am hopeful that running the 4/3 Quinn will at least have them in position to make the plays.

Check out this breakdown on Barmore. You might become a believer after watching it...

AC, the problem is he'll be seen as a reach at 10. Booger wants some oohs and aahs with his first rounders.

I like Barmore but what I like even more about him is he makes Lawrence, Gregory and whoever they line up at that DT spot better. He's the textbook "handful" with his size and Quinn could move him around on the line. When I first started watching him, he reminded me of a young and not yet finished Reggie White, he's a little larger than Reggie was but he has that some movement with his body.

Pitts and I don't give it a second thought.
If Sewell is on the board and Pitts is gone you take Sewell.

Chase is a no brainer if he falls to 10 and I wouldn't rule out Waddle.

Why trade down? If he is really that good, can do all these things at a high level which you know is hard to find for a DT, then why chance missing out on him and just draft the guy? If the scouts think there is a good chance he can be a pro bowl/all team wrecking ball at a position we've been weak at for a while then I don't want to get cute and take any chance we could miss out on him.

I’ll add this....if Surtain is taken before #10 and it comes down to Pitts or Jaycee Horn, I’m going Pitts.

This is coming from a Horn fan too. I posted a thread about Horn while the college season was still going. He’s unrefined and I think he’s going to be a bit of a penalty magnet early on in his career. We already have that in Diggs.

Pitts - he would give you WR flexibility next year with either resigning Gallup, trading Gallup or releasing Cooper and keeping Gallup.
CB is pretty deep this year
Parsons, while tempting still has some question marks.

Pitts easily but I think he goes 4 to Atlanta. Between Surtain and Parsons is really hard for me. I'm going to say Surtain because I think we could still get a really good LB in the second or third round. Same could be said about corner, but I think they'll dry up quicker than the LB position.

Surtain is the choice, IMO. Starts next to Diggs for the foreseeable future. Safest choice to improve the TEAM.
Parsons -- I am torn on because I don't really know what he is. Is he a Mike, is he a Will? He could be great or a bust depending on coaching and system.
Pitts -- I think he is the best player of the three, and the splashy one, but the one that helps the TEAM the least. So this is who Jerry will probably pick.
