Twitter: Parsons talks Overshown tackle and Guyton facing Myles Garrett

Great players don’t need to tell others how great they are. Others know it already. Or they know that you’re not, which is probably why Tyler had no idea what Micah was talking about. He knows who he faced in practice.

Watt > Guyton
While that is true atm learning against the best is the best way to learn. If I was Tyler I'd embrace these games and take everything I can out of them. A couple of years in, and Guyton is one of the best and these discussions are being held on the other side of the ball.

Watt plays more against weaker offenses and OL more than Micah does.
give me Micah.

(not sure if true or not) but needs to be taken into account

Guyton's going to be a better player than T.J. Watt?

Your face paint is running.

How can you take something into account that's not verified?
Being sarcastic. You know, like some players play better against stronger or weaker offenses and defenses.
Some players play better with a stronger OL. Some players get more picks against the lesser QB's and covering WR's.

Garrett had 1 sack and 2 tackles against Guyton. We will see how he improves by the time he faces Watt. Who will be tough to contend with no doubt. But he will not be Chaz Green out there.

As of right now, it's a no brainer that Watt is better, but they are at different points in their careers. Watt has led the league in sacks 3 times, has the record for most sacks in a season, has a DPOY award.
If the argument is who’s the better sack artist I’d agree. But better player? I don’t know if that’s a no brainer.

Yeah that's what I said he's not nearly as impactful, watt is relentless
You don't really watch the games do you? What is 9 pressures and 1 sack ? That could have been 3 sacks with some tackling improvement - That was rare, nobody ever usually gets away from him!

I will wait until Micah has been around as long as Watt. Then compare. Watt only has more skins on the wall at this point.
But I will take Micah, considering the age difference.
Notice how you really didn't bash me there's something to what I'm saying. It's not as if he's a scrub, just haven't seen him take over that's all. The announcers say it's third down you got to watch for Watt , it seems like he's always affecting the play in some way

Guyton had a really good outing this is very similar to Tyler Smith having to start at left tackle his rookie year was he perfect no but he improved every game sure he's going to have a couple mistakes against the better pass rushers are you kidding me who blocks those guys one-on-one who blocks Parsons one-on-one what tackle and there aren't many in football can all game block these types of pass rushers without giving up pressures or sacks there aren't many that's why you gotta leave it up to the coaching staff to make sure they're not hung out on an island... That's why it appeared that BeeBee had a better game at center he was almost flawless that's because he's in the middle where everyone's clogged up in there passing each other off and they're helping each other the ends the tackles are typically by themselves on an island and they need some help getting shipped by running back tight end because if they're getting left alone against some of these pass rushers that's not on the player because they are getting baptized by fire and he had a very good game....

However there are some haters out there that still wanna make sure that they take shots at the front office and the way they're leaning on rookies this year and all our rookies played well but they're only going to pick out the negatives from that game how did you see that he gave up a pressure or did you see that he he it's got to have to run..

Right because you're playing some of the best defensive lines and pass rushers in football this season and you're going to make mistakes.... But that is happening what I saw from him is every bit what we thought he was gonna be and I think he's going to get better every game....

Here's the good news he's not Chaz green..lol

Having watched DO his entire career I would say that what always stood out to me the most was his closing speed.
When he targets you up, he closes quickly.
Has potential elite ability IMHO.
