Also have to consider the last two opponents. The Lions and Bears both have pass protection issues and the plan was for them to run the ball to avoid getting their QB's destroyed. And the Bears have run for a million yards against everybody it seems so no need to panic about that rushing total a couple weeks ago.

Well seems like they are defending against the strong pass rush the Cowboys have. Screens, dump off passes, and of course run, run and run.... DQ needs to counter attack. As long as the Dallas offense can get in front by couple of scores, it is ok... but if they get behind, there will be a problem.

That is why it is super important for this offense to score and score often. Force teams to have to abandon the run.

If teams insist on being down 20 and just running the ball...so be it. Take the win. Forget the sack stats.

It's just smart offense to not put themselves in must pass situations. On 1st downs, I'd like Hankins at NT with Parsons at MLB to stop this running stuff. Then move #11 back to outside OLB after they force 2nd n long.

They are doing what works.

It's up to the defense to adjust and fix it.
Well, they lost, so maybe it's not working as well as they'd hoped. But you're right, the D needs to make adjustments. Maybe only rush one or two guys most of the time, and disguise blitzes.

I don't know, it is a double-edged sword, and I prefer what has been working, this speed rush is our bread and butter.
Run D will improve in time.

I'm mostly thinking of plays such as when Micah rushes the QB and the QB lobs it over his head to the RB for a big gain, or when DLaw charges in and overruns the QB and/or RB. DLaw needs to contain more, and if Micah stays with the RB more often, it should be more effective when he does rush the QB. It's either that, or make sure someone stays in to cover the RB while Micah goes after the QB.

He's using the word conservative to explain why his sack numbers aren't top of the league. Our pass rush is changing opponents play calling.

"Teams are playing more conservative," Micah Parsons said. "You look at the week before’s film & you come watch our film & it’s 2 different games. 2 different game plans. You see way more screens..It’s tough to prepare for."

Don't make excuses, come up with solutions.

Is it just me, it appears he's implying that they are struggling to fix the run issue. Hell, that's obvious but WHY? The scheme, missing certain type( s) of players, ...........

All he is saying is that people are running the ball on them more. Harder to get sacks and make a big impact if they are running straight at you.
