LOL ....those days are over under Zimm
yup, very happy zims back

I know Quinn ran out his welcome but i enjoyed his stay here after the rob ryans, marinellis, and that god awful nolan year

But the defense just seems way more structured/varied under Zim, i gotta be honest im keeping my expectations tempered, but excited to see what they do.

You are exactly right ........ Remember Zimm said we may not get as many turnovers but we won't give up as many big plays. That's a trade-off.....

This is what we like to see. But what really matters is keeping Parsons effective late in the season into the playoffs.
They need to figure that out.......Some fans blame Parsons for quitting or dogging it but I don't believe that. To be honest, most players, especially defensive will say they are not as effective by the end of the season from wear and tear and/or nicks and bruises. But Parsons goes against players weighing 40-60lbs more the majority of snaps, so it's bound to take a toll by the end of the season. Bottom line IMO, he needs to be one a snap count at certain positions. Yes move him around but be smart with the impact it is costing him at the end of the season.

It’s interesting listening to a few guys I saw some guys say it’s only one week and doesn’t mean anything. Same people say how different Eagles look. Zim flaws will show up eventually but one thing you can’t say is he’s had talent like this.

No Quinn slander from he saved this organization from Mike Nolan but that Packers game really left a bad taste in my mouth.

I think this is them figuring it out. Less snaps against 330 pound linemen.

69 snaps is way to many for Micah,no wonder he gets worn down in the 2nd half of the season,he is no Myles Garrett.we need to promote Lawson to the active squad and reduce Micah's snap count.

Agreed especially since we had a commanding lead in the 3rd quarter and Parsons didn't play at all in the pre season.

Gotta get that snap count down.

I wonder what the total defensive snaps were for the game........in other words, what percentage did he play?

No defensive coordinator should muzzle a weapon like Micah Parsons. They should make opposing quarterbacks see ghosts for four quarters. "Where's Micah? OMG. There he is! Mommy."

Props to Mike Zimmer. Hopefully, the tactic will continue all season long.

The typical high energy from Micah with the NEW season, let's save this for later on in November or something

The good thing about Zimm is that he sees how affective Parsons can be by giving him a multitude of different looks. This should keep Parson from gassing out late in the season due to throwing hands and body against LTs and RTs and Gaurds 95% of the time.
