Nobody has caught a shark in the Rio Grande or at Falcon Lake so no. Never heard of it. We sure have not ever worried about that.
Bull sharks frequent the Mississippi and Amazon rivers thousands of miles inland. But, I have never heard of one attacking someone in a river…..yet. Oh, I also wouldn’t swim in either river regardof sharks :muttley:

A 16-year old girl was killed last year in Perth when she jumped in a river to swim with dolphins. Bull Sharks attack more people than any shark species. Florida probably gets more Bull Shark attacks than anywhere in the world.

I know they do, just saying I haven’t heard of one attack in the two specific rivers that I mentioned. Believe me, I know about those bulls. It is the one shark that I don’t want to encounter while scuba diving…..give me a White or Tiger any day over a bull shark.

Not sure why some here think you can't get injured doing this - just more minor injuries like sprains and tears can happen and it's not rare.

Parson's just isn't a smart guy. He really isn't. Physically gifted but mentally stupid. He behaves like he stopped maturing around 16 years old. Not surprised he doesn't know when to pace himself in a game so he's gassed and a no show when he's needed most.

He needs to do this every week, it’s good cardio for endurance.
As long as he doesn't tie a long rope with a t-bar to a lead defender and skim his way on turf to the opposing quarterback I will be good with it.

Yeah, it’s a lot of hand wringing over nothing. I mean God forbid someone going out having a good time and simultaneously getting in a workout. How dare him! Trade him now!
