Sorry, bb. Can't agree on that one. You're seeing the result of a greater pass rush in this game: pressure, turnovers, and only 7 points in the first half against a prolific offense, and one of the best offensive coaches in the league!
 
I hate to crush you ignorant football fans...but theres not a corner in the league that can cover a receiver 40 yards across the field, without a hint of passrush. If you go watch the tape, you will see the same thing happen to the hags DB's....Again, if you are going to overreact...learn the game, then come and *****.
 
Only the 2nd preseason game, against another opponent that we play during the regular season. Relax.
 
Um, we got 4 sacks for the night. If we averaged that in a 16 game season we would end up with 64 sacks for the season. Last year the team with the highest sack total was Atlanta with 48.

So, I don't see how you can say our pass rush wasn't good tonight. We additionally got a lot of pressure on all the QBs.
 
I thought we did a terrific job on some plays, and on others we left guys virtually uncovered. Which is kind of what we should expect with a new defense and a lot of young players. It's going to be an up and down season, not from game to game but from play to play. I think as the season progresses we'll see more consistency and a lot less of the breakdowns that we saw tonight.

Exactly what I would expect for the 2nd preseason game. Give this team 2 more weeks and 2 more preseason games and we will be even better. Good evaluation JD!

That was SWEEEEEEEEET. Ware trailed him across the field completely before diving in front for the pick. The TE was out in the slot on the left at the start of the play and Ware picked it pretty close to the right sideline.

Now, if we can get Newman to do this with Wrs, I'll really get excited.
