With RoMac most likely sitting out, no Durant. So Hitchens probably starts MLB. So does Wilber start?
And will they activate a LB, or do they need to.

The DL needs to get some sacks, and more so than before, get some pressure that produces sacks this week.
Or heavy pressure that causes mistakes on the Rams offense.

If there was a game for RoMac to miss, it would be this week. And that's not to take this game lightly. It's not a trap game, way too early to call games trap games. But it is on the road, against a team who themselves feel they too have something to prove.

Solid mistake free game is what is needed. It won't be as easy as seems, though I hope I'm wrong, and it turns out to be similar to the Titans game.

Well, tbh I think this is a game we need the offense to jump on them early so the defense doesn't have to win the game. No reason our OL shouldn't destroy them in the run game (we did last year and they had better available talent a year ago) and we should be able to make hay in the passing game as well.

If McClain can play, it appears they would use Wiber at SLB, Carter at WLB and Hitchens at MLB. Toomer and Cam Lawrence are the backups.

In the first 2 games they have played in Nickel for the majority of the defensive snaps which takes 1 LB off the field.

Think we get 2-3 sacks, but then people gnna say "oh it's the back up QB" like if he's the one who blocks, people around here seem too just find somethinng negative when something comes around.

Offense needs to step up like someone said. If they let the Rams hang around, they will probably lose. Any given week in the NFL. By no means is this an automatic "W" in the win column.

Yes true. And just because Murray had success running on this team in the past, doesn't mean he will do it again. They have some different players the same as we do. No matter what it looks like on paper, and he should run well, will still be a tough game.

I think this is the week that we will get to see Toomer, if McClain is out, b/c Cook would torch those other LBs.

"it's the Rams dude"

I would play Church down in the box, and see if they can beat us with the pass. We have "elite" corners...or at least on paper they are.
