As bad as I would like to see DeCastro at RG next year or a lock down corner, I am firmly convinced that pass rush has to be addressed first in the draft. Spencer is likely gone and I am starting to wonder how much longer Ware will be elite given his neck issues and the fact that the miles are starting to accumulate. I dont know if Butler is an every down player. Lissemore and Hatcher show flashes, while Ratliff is on the wrong side of 30. Fix the pass rush and you are improving the secondary.

we have the guards ,i dont think we will draft any in the draft.OLB is a sure bet in the first rd.

Yea but we need another playmaker in the secondary. But I agree we must upgrade the pass rush. I wish we would of got Cullen Jenkins in fa. We are paying spears close to what the eagles gave Jenkins I think.

If we can get a stud DE on the other end opposite Ware, and our pass rush in vastly improved, then the secondary will look MUCH better without any changes in the secondary.

The QB will have to get rid of the ball earlier, etc....this is provided that the secondary doesn't continually play 10 yards off the ball and jams the WR within 5 yards.

football is not complex

Except when front offices make bone headed moves

1) get real NT (soliai, Miami)
2) Rat moves to DE (and causes pressure)
3) draft best OLB is round 1

instant pass rush and pressure

We have some scrubs at guard. They are below average a best .

Don't forget making Ben Grubbs and Carl Nicks priorities in FA as well.

He has a real good size to athleticism ratio. He could have been groomed to take James spot.

Slow. Maybe not good in coverage. We don't want another bradie James out there

Kyle Kosier is below average?

He has never been more than average. With his age and injury history, yes, he is below average

Wow, I think he is stoo slow for an outside LB where explosion is so critical, but it is excellent in special teams coverage.

I thought inside backer would be best fit.

When we played Detroit, did you even hear Suh's name mentioned. Baring injury he will be ok for another couple of yrs. Now Holland is another story. I just dont know if you can trust him

Suh has been off this year. Several teams have made him a nonfactor. I'm just saying that I would like to have linemen that are better than okay. With the exception of Smith, the line is in need of upgrades. Free needs to go to RT and a center and at least 1 guard are needs in the off-season.
