I can be sold on Warren, if Adams can use him like McBride in Arizona and he can develop into an elite guy.
Just need a competent staff to use the guy.

I liked Ferguson from day 1, but he's also an UFA and Schoon doesn't hold a candle to Warren's ceiling.
A dominant TE can be as impactful as a #1 WR. Not saying he's guaranteed to be a Kelce/Gronk, but those guys were the #1 option on SB winning teams.

I was reading an ESPN+ article on Bech and his ability to cut and not lose any motion. Could be sold on him as a #2 paired with CDL down the road.

I think Warren is a very quiet, but very real, possibility for us at 12. No we don't "need" him but he is far better than any of our TE's. Adding him to the offense gives them another dangerous weapon to help Dak and CDL. But WR and RB would definitely still be a need though.

Plus also I think they could then possibly trade Ferg for a pick to a team who misses on one of the decent TE's in this class. He's a proven vet and has some value, maybe a 4th? Probably a 5th.

My theory is that this draft is about 1) reviving Dak Prescott and 2) building the offense for the future.

I compensated by drafting 4 DTs to have some competition.

It was just for fun. I'm not all that up to speed on this year's draft.

I took a look at all these picks ,and I say it is a solid draft I like it all.Love the first 3 picks Warren Bech and Judkins all starters.Then some good trench depth on both sides of the ball ,much needed .I read that the LB from Minnesota Cody Lindenberg gave Tyler Warren fits in coverage when they played last season that is cool.I think it makes Dallas a better football team ,it meshes good with the free agent talent that was added.Good Draft well done.

I like Lindenburg for stopping the run too. He's a pretty solid player, imo. Still haven't put as much time as I like. But like you said, I'm looking for starters early on then I want to beef up the d-line and add depth to the offensive line.

If Warren is the best available you take him, if Warren stays healthy he's a 12 year starter and might have a gold jacket when he is done.That's what kind of player he is,he makes your offense instantly better .

I agree. That's why I took a TE when I already know we have TEs. It sets you up for the future. Tyler Smith, Lamb, Tolbert, those guys are all still young. I want another young weapon for the future.

Warren is a possibility if he's there.

Lindenberg looks like he would fit nicely with Liufau ,Sanborn ,Murray Jr, Mogensen and Overshown ,looks like a solid crew of aggressive young Line Backers.

I suspect the Cowboys like him too.

I'm a little torn on my Logan Brown pick. But my thought process is he can develop into a swing tackle in time. I don't think he's ready now.

BTW, for those saying we have TEs. We do. But Shotty likes to use 12 formation quite a bit. Plus, you have those 6'4''-6'' players McCarthy talked about for ST play. It doesn't push Ferg and Schoon off the roster. It may even elevate their game by taking pressure off of them.

Warren can also play some out of the backfield and in the slot. He gives you options.
