Good draft, the Ty Robinson pick is hurting my eyes tho, lol. Cowboys need a 1T bad, and Robinson is a 3T.
Yeah, but I'm just trying to fill some holes and upgrade the team. We still have FA and UDFA.
I probably shouldn't have taken 3 backs, because that would never happen. We'd have a diverse running back by committee though.
A few things. 1) Golden doesn't do it for me. Not because he won't be good. But he had the benefit of playing with another legitimate receiving threat in Bond. Plus, Texas' TE wasn't too shabby, not to mention their backs. The team was loaded. That's why he looks so open sometimes.
I'm obviously higher on Hairston than a lot, but I've dug around to check if I'm out of my mind, and there are others here who also like him. To me, he's CB1. Still has room to develop. And he showed he can do that at Kentucky. Coaches there call him the best DB in school history.
Lastly, Lachey and Verdon may not be day 1 starters, but I like both as STers with developmental upside.
Verdon is a baller. He has some dog in him, although he needs to add some strength for the next level.
