Passing issues vs Chargers: Is the problem Dak, Gallup, pass routes or all-of-the-above?

1-Dak - our 7 year vet who admitted he gave up against SF (he should have been benched at least 1 game for his "I'm humbled" comment)

2-lack of rb's letting safeties drift toward our average wr corp

3-OC- nobody put any weight into Rodgers saying he overrode over 50% of MM's calls. why not?
This is what Dak said about that humbling experience against the 49ers:

"Didn't see it coming," Prescott said after Dallas' 42-10 blowout defeat on Sunday night. "Put everything into this and got punched in the mouth. Called a couple weeks ago humbling against Arizona. But this may be the most humbling game I've ever been a part of." - Oct 9, 2023

Where does any of that equate to "giving up"???

The problem is Dak had a great game and they won despite Gallup not playing well that day. Give me more of those issues.

You be the judge...

Tony Romo made his receivers look better than they actually were. Dak? not so much...In order for Dallas to do anything they are going to have to function as a team to win as a team. Dak is not the kind of QB to shoulder the team to victory.

per Ap story-Dak Prescott calls Cowboys’ loss vs 49ers ‘the most humbling game’ he’s played

theres so many ways to respond-I'll just take 1 now

how is it even possible for a 7 year qb to be humbled?? he was lost and he gave up. I dont care if its 69-0 you fight for the whole 60 minutes and after the game you say I just didnt have enough time. Not 1 player in Denvers 70 point loss ( to Miami) said they were humbled from their loss. Embarrassed yes, humbled no way
Being humbled means admitting being beaten and/or overwhelmed- it means you couldnt play to their level. You gave up. If thats your 1st quote after the game you were thinking that during the game. He was playing scared
theres 2 qbs that played SF that were only not humbled but won
PJ Walker with his 17 career starts wasnt humbled- he won

how can u ever start Dak against SF again- he's already intimidated by them.

Butkus would have literally beat the crap out of Dak if he saw him playing as scared and lost as he was

lets me flip it around - how does it not mean you gave up and played scared. Who wants to root for a team with a scared qb who feels he cant win?

Ah now I get it, you just don't know what "humbled" means. That clears it up.

Late throw. High Throw. Low throw. Easy throw. Bad Throw. Drop pass. Lazy routes. Its your garden variety of bad QB play and a JAG receiver.

Sounds like you seriously don't understand what the word "humbled" means. It certainly doesn't mean "playing scared or giving up" as you wrongly stated.

As per anyone liking your terrible interpretation, well, they are just as uneducated as well.

What a bunch of garbage. More Romofanatics' lies.

Dak made Amari Cooper play better. Amari has now played under Derek Carr, Dak and Deshaun Watson. To this day, Amari Cooper's best season has been under Dak.

Cedrick Wilson's best years were under Dak. The same goes for Brice Butler.

Cole Beasley by far had way better seasons under Dak than he had under Romo. Beasley even said recently that Dak was the best QB he's ever played under even though Beasley had his highest single season career year while playing under Josh Allen in Buffalo.

Terrance Williams' best single season was in 2015 when Romo was injured most of the year but several other backup QBs were throwing to Terrance. Even then, T-Will's 3 highest completions' percentage years by far happened under Dak (2016 - 2018).

Noah Brown is looking like crap playing this year in Houston. His best career years by far were in Dallas under Dak with last season (2022) being his career best by far.

Plus, Michael Gallup and CeeDee Lamb have both been lights out while playing under Dak.

If one truly wants to get technical, one can compare how many 400+ and 500+ yard games Dak Prescott and Tony Romo have had throughout their careers. Let's see:

Through 7+ seasons, Dak has thrown for 400+ yard games 8 different times, plus 1 game over 500 yards.

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/dak-prescott-400-yard-games

Meanwhile, through 11 starting seasons, Romo threw for 400+ yard games only 4 times while throwing for over 500 yards 1 time.

https://www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/tony-romo-400-yard-passing-games

The proof is in the pudding. Dak has made his receivers look better than they actually were. Dak has even had double the amount of high passing career games than Romo ever had, all while Dak still has 3+ years left to equal the amount of starting years Romo had, which means Dak is most likely to increase his career high passing games. Enough already with the anti-Dak/pro-Romo lies.

1 - Resigning Gallup was a boneheaded move after the injury he had.
2 - Offensive line play has been shake AT BEST.
3 - We need to figure out how to run the ball so we can open things up with play action. Our offensive line is weak.

I honestly can’t understand why they don’t give Tolbert a chance.

Bench Gallup for Tolbert. Worst case scenario he fails too. Gallup has been awful

Yike, they will not like you bringing up facts. It's funny people think Romo was that much better than Dak. Tony Romo threw more INT's than Dak. Tony Romo also had all of famer Jason Witten at TE all of his Career. Tony Romo also had 3 solid years with hall of famer Terrell Owens. I liked Romo but its funny how people forget lol.

Too much money to bench I am guessing. Or they are holding out hope they get Michael Gallup before his injury. If I was Dallas I would be looking to get rid of Michael Gallup after this year. We can get out of his contract after this year. If we make him a Post June 1st cut we save 9 1/2 million I believe. I would be prepping Tolbert and Cooks over the bye. Gallup has looked bad last year and the start of this year so far. He has time to turn it around but man he gets zero separation on his routes and now has stone hands.

I know exactly what it means and its the last thing I want to hear from my 7 year qb (a rookie-ok). Dak played scared and the close up photos show it in his eyes.
our 7 year qb played like he was lost/beat/overwhelmed. He was scared. JP Walker with his 17 starts just went out and wasnt overwhelmed. he won.
i dont want to get into a fight with you so read your own post about the definition and tell me thats the type of qb you want. if it is we agree to disagree

Lol. Dak looked scared? Really?

Ok, look up the game on YouTube and take several screenshots of Dak looking scared. It should be easy since you're saying that's what you saw. I'll take you for your word that you're speaking truth, so I will wait for you to show any screenshots of Dak looking scared when playing the 49ers 2 weeks ago.

All you're highlighting is that Dak has had a better team around him. Especially the line. Tony never had that luxury. Tony has more 4th quarter comebacks. Sure we are measuring 10 seasons of play vs 7. Did Tony have his ups and downs? Yep. But I'd argue that Tony just about improved year after year. Where Dak has pretty much hit his ceiling already. There are better QB's than both but if I have to chose one over the other...it's Romo.

I just finished destroying you and your Romoloving Dak hating bunch. Now you want me to destroy y'all some more with more facts?
