Passing on Jeanty at #11 is a no Brainer!

While i agree in theory there are other positions that have more cost to benefit ratio for their 2nd contract, the rookie contracts are all on a scale so it doesn't matter.

At 12 you still will get a player top 2 at a position and a lot depends on how the board falls...if you have a trade partner and the board is deep then that's a great spot to trade back, but saying no to him just bc hes a rb is silly....have to play it out
Well, for one it's not our decision so whats the point. As much as I like the running game, I would like to have a good running back. I wanted one the last two years and they did not see it that way. What concerns me is that the 2 genius owners aren't very good when it comes to picking defensive tackles. They might pick the worst one of the bunch.

We need a DT or DE at #11.

DT’s and DE’s have WAY more value financially than RB’s!
Philly’s 3rd best DT just signed a Free Agent contract for 25 million per year. Good RB’s are only getting 6-12 million per year in Free Agency.

Draft a DT or DE at #11 and get a good RB in Free Agency or later in the draft. They should have signed Doodle to a Free Agent contract for 6.5 million per year. He was a darn good back WHEN HE GOT A LITTLE BLOCKING!
What about wide receivers?
