Since the disaster that was the 2009 Draft, the Boys have added 3 Blue chip players in the 1st round.

Dez Bryant
Tyron Smith
Mo Claiborne

Have to be honest, each year those are the 3 guys I wanted to coming into the draft. Serious man crush alert. Kinda figured we would find a way to get Dez. And Smith was on our radar from the beginning. But this Claiborne thing came out of nowhere.

And i'm absolutely thrilled. Claiborne is going to be what Tyron is to the Offensive line, and what Dez is to the offense. Electric. His ball skills are out of this world, and he will create turnovers. Something we have been missing in our secondary for a long long time.

Oh, and i will not fail to mention us getting Sean Lee and Bruce Carter in the 2nd round. And some guy named DeMarco Murray in the 3rd (Beast).

Sprinkle in some quality depth like Lissemore, Nagy, Dwayne Harris(Hopefully) and you will see that this team is assembling some serous young talent.

Hate losing that 2nd round pick. But I have faith we will add another starter or two during this draft. Quality depth will be picked in the 3rd, 4th, 5th rounds.

Drink the Kool-Aid folks. The Boys' are back!!!

I definitely think we have made out like bandits the last 3 years.

You could argue that we got the best receiving in the 2010 draft with Dez, the best tackle in the 2011 draft with Smith, and the best corner in the 2012 draft with Claiborne.

You could further argue that we got the best linebacker in the draft with sean lee in 2010, and while the book hasn't been written on Bruce Carter, I remain hopeful. I think we can argue that we retroactively got the best running back in the draft with Murray in 2011.

5 players who are arguably the best at their positions in a given year.

We can also throw in Dan Bailey (undrafted) in 2011.

Yes cant forget Bailey. Another undrafted gem.

We may even be talking about Andre Holmes or Raymond Radway at this time next year.

Kowalski or even Costa(Might get killed for this one). Who knows what Callahan could do for these guys. He gets the most out of his guys.

Two words:

Jason Garrett

Despite a few obvious game day shortcomings (that I hear he is aware of and working on), it's very clear that he has a vision for this team and has steadfastly gone about building it. The "process" is working. At the risk of sounding like a happy fan, I'll simply say this...it's not too late for the Cowboys to own this decade :D

This team is finally going somewhere.. Fast.

We aren't messing around with Romo's 30's, that's for sure. FO is on a mission and I'm on board for the ride. :D

Garrett seems to be putting his stamp on this team for sure. And for all the crap Jerry takes, people should step back and look and these last three drafts. It's obvious that he listens to his coach's and scouts. He should get some credit too.

Didn't we trade up to get dez bryant and sean lee as well? It definitely seems like trading up works for us, much better than trading down does.

The Callahan hire will help with the gameday mishaps
