Pat Kirwan-Rush on rushers might cost Sooners' Peterson

He's a beast and not injury prone like AP. Super hard worker and excellent team player. In my mind, Lynch will most likely come out as the better back in the long run.

Since when do freak injuries make you injury prone?

You DO realize that the Texans and Houston are one and the same, skin boy?

Texas doesnt mean Texans. But I did err in the fact that I did mean Minnesota.

And yes I do consider Cleveland and Minnesota better then those pits. In the case of Cleveland, not a WHOLE lot better, but better.

I would rather play for the Texans than either or any of those teams. But yeah they are all about equal including the Vikings.

sounds like they are alot more interested in Brady Quinn to me:

They are interested in QBs, including Quinn, but they are talking about possibly trading down for Quinn if Peterson isn't available.

I can only go by what the local media is discussing, but they have been pretty good at knowing what the front office is up to in years past. They knew that Mario Williams was the guy despite most media and fans wanting Young or Bush.

As A QB I would not want to go ANYWHERE near Texas untill they have shown they can build a least a MEDIOCRE O line.

The most common place for Peterson to stick in my mock drafts is 8th with Texas. But I've seen Atlanta draft Peterson (#10) and Pittsburgh draft Peterson (#15) in some draft scenarios.

Quinn and Peterson affect one another a great deal in my sims. If Houston drafts Quinn Peterson falls. If Detroit drafts Quinn then Peterson becomes Houston's "lock on" choice.

Peterson is a big candidate to be BPA'd by someone if he starts falling.

The Houston media is hoping Peterson somehow falls to them. They don't think that signing Green keeps the Texans from drafting him only to ensure they have somebody in case he isn't there.

If only they had Bush, they wouldn't need a RB.

What if Peterson was there at 8 and the Texans offered to trade it to you for #22, Julius Jones, and Patrick Crayton(they released Eric Moulds not too long ago). Would you pull the tirgger?

Thats way too cheap to move up to 8, I would probably do it even if Peterson wasn't my target. A lot of quality players will be available at that spot.

He is NOT an Emmitt Smith
Coming out of college Emmitt wasn't considered such a sure thing either. He wasn't even a top 10 pick. Who knew such a great thing could come from a smaller package? The fact is no one knows if AD will be a Emmitt Smith or Blair Thomas. To automatically write him off like that is a little premature.

Kiper had Emmitt ranked 4th overall. He fell well below what was expected because of his slow 40 time and that he was only 5-9 199 at that time.

That's a no-brainer in my opinion. No way the Texans would make that trade, though.

As much as Cowboy's fans like Crayton, he's a nobody outside of Dallas. Receivers of his caliber are a dime-a-dozen.

I know. There's at least 10 or so receivers that led the league in first downs per pass attempt.
