Anyone having fantasies of White, Felix and Barber in a Wildcat formation?

I would love to have Pat White...but I am a homer.

If he's there with our 5th comp pick, I would say get him!! Like Windward, I would have fantasies about Pat in the wildcat with Felix flanked next to him....Pat has an above average arm..it just takes awhile for him to wind up, but he can zip it like everyone else. He would add a different element to our offense by playing the wildcat 6-8 plays a game. You still have to respect him with the pass because he can hurt you that way too. I saw if hes there in the 5th..take him!

not really

gimmicks dont win championships

I'd like Pat if we get rid of Stanback, otherwise we might as well stick with Stanback and see what happens.

I redid my mock on paper. I took him in the 5th. Yes. You could absolutely do it. You can run the WildCowboy and teach him the slot position.

White gives you two homerun threats in that formation, and Barber can take the direct snap, too. White can throw it out of the formation.

That's something else other teams have to prepare for.

Exactly..no one is saying Pat is going to come in and play starting WR..but as a 5th round pick he can add a different element to this offense for sure. Why not?? I'll be excited to see what he does tonight, then we can talk more about him

I don't think the Wildcat is in Garrett's playbook. Seems like if he were going to do it, he would've tried it with Stanback when Johnson proved we couldn't move the ball with him.

And White is so small anyway.

Like others said, I'd just do this with Stanback if I wanted to use a couple gimmick plays a game.

What the heck do we do with Stanback this year?

I believe White will go early on the second day. Hopefully, it is not with our choice, which happens to kick the morning off.

I don't think a 2nd page is in Garrett's playbook. In fact, I'm going to start calling it Garrett's "play sheet" or "play page".
