Giving us pick 6 of each round due to current ESPN Power Rankings.

R1. Landon Collins, Safety, Bama --Playmaker and big hitter. Instant upgrade.
R2. Arik Armstead, LDE, Oregon --Adds length to Left End.
R3. Bryce Petty, QB, Baylor --Value QB that could develop into a long term starter. Worth sacrificing some ability to cheaper cap hits.
R4. Malcolm Brown, RB, UT ---Will be a phenomenal pro. Could start if Murray is too pricey.
R5. Steven Nelson, CB, Oregon State ---Depth for inevitable Carr release.
R6. Dyshawn David, OLB, Syracuse ---Very good athlete with ability to play WLB and cover. Has some Justin Durant to his game.

Arik Armstead is a 4-3 DT, 3-4 DE.

I Like Landon Collins but much like with Mark Barron, I'm not a fan of spending a top 10 pick on a Strong Safety.

various:

Arik would be a LDE in Seattle. Assuming Dallas wants to copy a lot of what they've done on the DL. Obviously not a speed rusher and probably would play some DT in passing situations or just rest. Will knock A LOT of balls down and is really hard to handle on the edge. Makes a ton of tackles for a massive DE. If you are going to rotate 8 guys along the DL I'd start to look for guys who bring unique assets to the line. I am not normally a fan of really long DEs but Arik is exceptional against the run for a guy his height.

Landon Collins to me can play either safety spot in the pros. And it's time to admit safeties have elite levels of value. As the season wears on I expect Landon to gain value. He is a hitter that can cover. Dallas doesn't value safeties like this currently but I am hoping that changes. Collins won the SPARQ title as best overall athlete coming out of High School. He ran a 4.42 40. That's much faster than Mark Barron. He's probably the best pure athlete in this class.

Petty: Bryce is gonna get hit with system QB knocks for sure. Combine what RG3 has failed to do as a pro with how the Baylor offense has done with the back up QB in Petty's absence and I don;t think he gets R1 consideration. Current r3 ranking seems about right. Recall it is the 6th pick of R3. So still a top 75 pick.
