It's official. Danica Patrick is leaving the IndyCar Series behind and will drive in NASCAR full-time starting in 2012.

The 29-year-old superstar will drive the full NASCAR Nationwide Series schedule next year with Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s race team, JR Motorsports. She will also attempt a partial Sprint Cup Series schedule with Tony Stewart's organization, Stewart-Haas Racing.

I would not use the term Super star either. I do like her and wish her luck as she moves into NASCAR full time. I saw how she looked when she 1st entered NASCAR and have seen vast improvement from her. It is a hard transition to make from Indy to NASCAR

I agree on not using the superstar term. Although she definitely is THE superstar in Indy.

A superstar at Indy?!? I know your a fanboy and all but come on. Let's reserve the Superstar status for multiple winners at Indy.
