I can't seem to find the official heights and weights for the DBs, but someone should have taken my bet regarding Prince Amakumara's height. I would have wagered a good amount of money that kid wasn't anywhere close to 6-foot.

I swear to God I woulda swore the same. They kept talking about this big corner and I kept seeing a compact looking 5-10 guy. I guess it's a good think when you're than tall but look like you're shorter due to a lower center of gravity

I have to say though I am surprised Prince and Peterson are the same height. Peterson looks much taller.

I have no problems admitting if I was wrong, but I hardly think those heights listed on that BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 website are official.

All of the players are listed at simple-numbered heights: ex 6', 6'1", 6'2", 6'3", et cetera.

They have Ahmad Black at 5'10" even, when he measured in at 5'9.3" at the Senior Bowl, which is to say he's 5'9 and 3/8s.

Walter football updates everything as they come in on TV...those numbers are legit..now you are right..they arent exact...but they are damn close..if someone checks in at 5 10 and 6/8s they make it 5'11...but their numbers are up to the minute

I'm a stickler for specifics, so exact numbers are what I gravitate towards. The example I gave with Ahmad Black is a good example; 5'9 3/8" is not even halfway to 5'10", so that's a bit of a difference in my mind. In effect, Black is closer to 5'9" than he is 5'10".

Now is that little bit of height going to make a huge difference on the field? Probably not. But I just want the true numbers as they are, not rounded up.

bottom line is, if Prince is listed at 6 foot..at a bare minimum hes a small 5-11, which is still taller than you expected lol...not that it matters to me

If he's under those claimed heights I will have been proven correct. If he's 5'11 7/8" I'll even concede I'm wrong, but if he's on the shorter side of 5'11" I sure the heck won't.

BTW, I've searched the Web up and down and haven't found any info on the DBs heights and weights. I hardly think BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1 has exclusive rights to this information. I'm certain that info is unofficial at this point.

If hes listed at 6 foot by walter..my guess is that he is on the higher end of 5-11..i guess you do have to wait for the official numbers to come in..doesnt matter to me, I wasnt a part of this debate and I am not trying to get into it now..just trying to help...

Hey just the other day you were suggesting i was arbitrarily making up heights

bottom line for me is unless we get lucky and PP falls to us or we trade up to get him then i don't want a CB in r1 period even in a trade down which if we do we better get a O-lineman.

Um, no. Reread the thread johnnyd, I never claimed you were arbitrarily making up hieghts. I clearly said the college sports info departments make up generous made-up heights and weights, which you agreed with.

I even gave you a few examples in which the descrepancies in heights/weights compared to the official ones can't be argued with.

Like I said, once the official heights are listed and if I'm wrong, I'll gladly hand out apologies.

relax realtick , i dont want a apology who cares? and i did re-read it the examples were the last thing you gave but the 2 or 3 posts before that you were outright suggesting that i was making **** up.
