PP is a top flight CB.
I don't like him chirping after a game, but I am pretty sure that in Dallas' 6 wins one of our players has behaved similarly. Acting like you have been there before doesn't seem to be typical behavior for today's NFL players.

They won. They get to brag. If we both make the Playoffs & play them again, we just have to be sure to shut them up.

I'd like to start with a smaller step of building a trend of winning at home. 3 losses in our place so far this year...

You know, its cool that they are excited after a big win, against the good opponent. But Peterson didnt impress me at all. All the balls thrown to bryant were basically uncatchable, and when they were he caught 2 and one was a back shoulder fade for a td. If Romo was playing, Dez would had a much bigger game.

I agree. Peterson's a bum. I'm glad we didn't draft him. I haven't been happy with Claiborne, but Peterson would not have been better. The guy I wanted was Prince Amukamura (not from the same draft -- the year before). To be honest, I haven't followed the Giants enough to know how he's doing, but he's who I wanted at the time.

Still don't what that song has to do with DC.

Teams are gonna celebrate after a win, regardless of the circumstances. This thread is basically trite. When we win, do any of our fans complain about how shameful it is to gloat about it? Of course not. Winners do that.

I guess I missed the story about the Cowboys mocking an opponent in the locker room after a game. I don't like it when the Cowboys taunt and gloat either. Case in point, Orlando Scandrick's occasional antics. I say win, celebrate, give props to your opponent and go home. To me celebrating and mocking are two different things. The modern day athlete have gotten away from sportsmanship.

What does "The Boys Are Back In Town" have to do with the Dallas Cowboys? That was our anthem in the 90s. The word Boys or Boyz is associated with the Dallas Cowboys. Makes perfect sense for them to adopt songs that use that word.

Exactly. The way WEEDEN was playing! Our defense kept us in there for the most part. They did there job. Weeden is horrible and cost us this game.

I suspect the Cowboys win with Romo.

Having said that, I thought the Cardinals sat on their small lead because, frankly, their 4 point lead was effectively like a 21 point lead the way Brandon Weedon was playing. It's impossible to say how things would have gone and its doesn't matter -- we'll never know.

They beat the team we lined up against them. Not their fault we have nothing behind our starting QB.
Who cares how they celebrated? I'm more concerned about how bad the boys played.

The boys being back town alludes to a return to form. This song is about smoking weed and thick women.

There is a Dallas Cowboys remix that's floating around on soundcloud. The guy uses the same hook, but it's Dallas' theme. If the other offends, then that song wouldn't. It's pretty cool.

As for Peterson, meh.. Best way to shut any team up is to win.

But for Peterson whose mascot is a BIRD to use We dem Boyz really makes no sense in the grand scheme of things. Get your own theme song, son.

I take it the remix is the version played on the Jerrrytron?

I'd hazard a guess that it's not, but I don't know because I haven't been in the stadium when the song is played. That said, I was just offering up that remix as an alternative to the more ratchet original.

Probably so but I tend to take what's said in a gleeful locker room with a grain of salt. I figure winners earn the right to get roudy and crow bragadocious things as long as nobody gets hurt in the process. These days, even things that aren't meant to be known by everyone and their distant relatives are exposed by the media. Players have to be extremely careful what they say nowadays, especially in a locker room, moreso than ever before. The media is always listening. There are just too many media jackals that love to stir up controversy.
