Do we have a shot to trade down and pick up the best CB in the country? If not we may be happy with Prince Amukamara CB Nebraska. The draft does not offer many OL early like last year. My thinking is Prince may fall to us but we may be able to move up with RW and MB3 on the block and scoop up Peterson. We can draft OL, S help in rounds 2-4.

If the Cowboys lose out (which they should try to do) and catch a few breaks (Buff and Denver winning a little), they could get CB Peterson.

He's been on that for weeks now.

Loser mentality.

Help me with something how do you try to lose out

I officiated Prince's twin sisters in basketball last week and one hit a 3/4 court buzzer beater and the other has about a 3 foot vertical...so I like the athletic side of his family.

I think Prince is the better CB, Peterson the better athlete.

Prince has no picks cause he rarely gets tested. Being that he used to be a RB, you know he's not afraid to be physical.

I would be happy with either one.

This season was over long ago. This team quit on the fans, quit on their coaches, and quit on themselves. 1-7 was ridiculous.

Nothing left but to evaluate the young players and position as best as you can for the draft. Need to load up. Many of those players who quit are not going to be here next year.

Quit trying to deny the obvious. Deep down, you know you want the high draft pick. All that talk about going out on a winning note is BS. Beat a horrible Commander team starting Grossman accomplishes what? Nothing.

Prince has no picks so he'll fit right in here.

Prince has had multiple picks this year - 3 or 4 that I can remember. The only thing is, every single time he has gotten one, the defense has picked up a stupid penalty to get it wiped out. Prince has literally been the most unlucky guy in the world this year when it has came to INTs.

Give me Peterson over Prince, and I like Prince by the way. However, Peterson has a lot more upside; a physical run defender; a bigger athlete; and is dynamic returner.

You can't sell that idea much around here. Believe me, I've tried. Most cite the loser mentallity that wil infect the team forever blah blah.

Forget the Peterson and Prince talk. The Cowboys are going to fall out of the top 10 picks because they're geared up to paste some scrub teams who are thinking ahead.

Welcome to 5 weeks ago. This is a different team now.

Yeah, they're clearly thinking about losjng these games intentionally so they might be able to move up a few spots to draft "x"

Nobody even knows who will exactly be in the draft yet, let alone are teams thinking about losing games to get said unknown players

He didn't say anything about anyone losing games, he said they are thinking ahead. As in, they are thinking about what they have to do for next year.

EDIT: Didn't see his previous comment, maybe he does support tanking the season afterall.

Some of these cowboys fans are a confused bunch. I suspect the people saying we should tank the rest of the season on purpose are the same people who want to bench vets and play rookies just to see what we have. Well if we're losing on purpose, how do you evaluate anything or anybody? Bad logic. "You play to win the game"-Herm Edwards. Its called pride.

If thats the case he's wrong then. The only reason the Cards are starting a rookie late rd pick is because two other QB's got hurt, not because they wanted to "evaluate" anybody.

The Commanders are benching McFlabb not because they want to find out about Grossman, but because they already know what McFlabb is and know they dont want him around.
