In all seriousness, I agree with NE fans. They were robbed. However, the culprit wasn't the league, the officials, or even the Giants. The culprit was the NE Patriots and the fans themselves.
You see, the Pats have been living a lie ever since the Tuck Rule. They have been cheating and conniving for most of the decade. They have cut corners and taken the easy way out in order to win. They have sold their souls to the devil. Not only this, but they took their fanbase, the few actual Pat fans and the millions of bandwagon fans, on this ride through the slums of Cheap Victoriesville. Their poor, pathetic fanbase bought into the success hook, line, and sinker. The fanbase accepted their beloved Pats, no questions asked....afterall, a win is a win, isn't it?
Now thanks to Spy Gate, we come to find that these victories are very hollow. We come to find that these victories are very tainted. We come to find that the Pats have been cheating all along.....and the fans have accepted it and allowed it to continue. You fans knew what was going on. You knew and you didn't call them out or make them clean up their act. You allowed your team to cheat their way to success......spreading their pitifully, poor image of their negative sportsmanship and total lack of fair play. By the NE fans not doing anything to make the Pats change their ways, you have told them it is ok to taint the integrity of the NFL and of football in general. You have told all the children that it is ok to cheat, cause cheaters do win sometimes....JUST DON'T GET CAUGHT.....
I take back my comment about the league not being part of the blame. The fact that the league has looked the other way since the Tuck Rule, places partial blame on them. The league, time and again, has turned a deaf ear or a blind eye to the shady goings on of the Pats, off and on the field. The league saw the Pats as a way to make money and have a dynasty in a dark time in America....not just a dynasty, but a dynasty with red, white, and blue colors and named the Patriots...it was a perfect scenario....especially when dealing with the 9-11 tragedy.
So hang your head low in disgust. The Pats and their fans are mostly to blame...Suffer in your spectacular defeat. Wallow in the misery that is the Post Super Bowl realization that your beloved team got their behinds handed to them on a Silver Platter. Forever deal with the fact that you were almost perfect, but not quite perfect enough...I will not say it is the death of your phony dynasty just yet....We will have to see what happens to Belicheat and this new evidence. We will have to see who retires or leaves via FA. We will have to see who the Pats draft.
