Patriots - 21 vs San Diego - 12 *AFCCG Game Thread*

wow, Nors is my Knight in Shining Armor....does that make me a damsel in distress............HELL NO. even I knew he was talking to Latin.

He called someone a drunk, but you are being racist Nors.....insinuating that because he is Indian, that he is a drunk himself.....the proverbial pot/kettle thing.

who still thinks NE isn't favored by the refs?!

Me. I haven't watched that much of the game today but even if they were getting the shaft today, it wouldn't make up for a whole season of favorable calls.

I'd read fans clammoring for Dallas to get Turner for two years, so I read his profile and was really impressed.

However, having watched him last week and this week, he hasn't shown me anything special...I'm not getting on that bandwagon just because he has a good 40 time...I want to see him make some people miss and make some plays for SD. Otherwise, he's just Tomlinson's backup.

That's just wind chill...it will only be zero degrees. Perfect football weather...

LT missed most in red zone

Michael Turner is an outstanding backup -- and might prove that he's a pretty good starter somewhere next season -- but the Chargers really miss LaDainian Tomlinson. Especially in the red zone.

The Chargers have twice moved inside the Patriots' 10. And all they have to show for it is two field goals.

I'd be willing to bet that LT would have scored on at least one of those possessions. After all, you could make an argument that he's the best red-zone running back ever. I know Emmitt-loving Cowboy fans don't want to hear that, but check their TD totals compared to their number of carries.

I'll do it for you ...

LT -- 115 TDs on 2,365 carries (one per 20.6)

Emmitt -- 164 TDs on 4,409 carries (one per 26.9)

LT's a healthy scratch?

Thanks to one of my favorite players of all-time, Steve Tasker, for providing that update on LT.
A coach's decision? I love Michael Turner as a player, and think he's got 1,300-yard potential when he bolts San Diego. But Norv's really putting himself out there on this one.

names.........let's see

Impossible, they never stop running them. They can't freeze.
