Embarrassing for the NFL in regards to the refs... simply embarrassing...

LOL. I didn't care to watch the game, but I knew the BS reffing would reign for the Pats like clockwork, and so it continues.

the refs cost the chargers? Why do people believe in these silly consipiracy's.

exactly what play or plays did the chargers get screwed on?

they are a great team, quit whining.

The leg whip that caused the interception was a major play in this game...

Blatant holding was never called...

Oh, and dude... don't call me a whiner... you don't know me...

Here's how I feel about the Super Bowl now:

As much as I don't like the Patriots, it would be impossible for me to root for the Packers or Giants.

theebs, my good friend...it's not only about the refs, it's about the CALLS they don't seem to see!

A Patriot blantely kicked the hurt knee of Rivers and it was not called! It was a nasty violation...

And look at all the nasty cut blocke by (Verbel, I think) all during the season? Never called...and when it is brought up to the attention of the NFL..."opps, sorry, carry on"...

dont whine and I wont.

Why people are so upset and afraid to admit that this pats team is simply great in every aspect I dont get. We should be happy the nfl can still produce such inrecridble talent, its a good thing for a league when there are great teams.

oh and the nfl should be embarrassed, that they allowed one of the top 5 all time wr to be traded for a 4th round pick to the best organization in the league. Its like the bulls getting rodman. JUst plain silly.

New England will finish this thing off in two weeks and they will go down as one of the greatest teams in any sport ever. Their versatility and intelligence is simply astounding.

Exactly... I have watched most of the Pats games this year and I don't recall ever seeing them called for holding...

Now obviously they have, but I've seen them hold more often than not and it not be called...

Sorry about that leg whip/trip we didn't call SD... we realize it turned the game around... but better luck next year...

Holding calls are significantly down. Only 54 holding penalties have been called in 48 games, an average of 1.125 per game. Holding calls have actually been dropping dramatically over the past three seasons, from 2.4 per game in 2005 to 1.55 in 2006.

Remarkably, eight teams have yet to be penalized for holding: Carolina, Cleveland, Green Bay, the New York Jets, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis and Tennessee.

I never said they weren't a great team. My point is that they don't need the refs help either...

And as I said... don't hurl insults at me...

Your perception of me is wrong and I invite you to shut your mouth... again...

It's not whining if there was an obvious missed call... regardless of Pats bias or not. A missed call like that can change the momentum of a game. And I think everyone PO'd about that call would feel the same way if there was a leg whip on Romo and it wasn't called.

So you don't watch the game but chime in on the officiating? Good grief.

Did anybody see the Bruschi hold on Gates before the second field goal attempt?

B. WHy are you threatening me? What for? I cant have the opposite opinion of you?

good grief. If you feel you need to attack me for having a different opinion and then threaten me, go ahead do whatever you have to do, I think its BS that you are threatening me.

Just go back to your Cheats board and stop pretending to be 'Boys fan. It's really disingenuous and sickening.

I think in some ways this was more impressive than a blowout. San Diego pretty much had the ideal pace for them to win. On top of that Brady wasn't sharp, don't know how much the weather played a part. Patriots simply imposed their will on them in the 4th quarter and beat the Chargers at their own game. They can outscore you or push you around, whatever kind of game you want to play they'll just do it better than you.

There were some calls that didn't go the Chargers way........however, when you have 3 drives inside the NE 10, you have to get the ball into the endzone. Having to settle for FGs is like committing suicide slowly and painfully, when you are playing the Pats.

I know LT was hurting, but inside the redzone, he could have at least gone out there on a few plays, even as a decoy.

I had the thought, during the game, that on the 3rd and 1 when Turner got stopped for a loss, it would have been interesting, even if you wanted to run the same play, to trot Volek out there, just for one play, to give the handoff. If they see Volek, they at least have to respect the bootleg and maybe Seau doesn't shoot the gap so quickly.

Ultimately that's why the Chargers lost. You can't trade TDs with FGs.

When did I threaten you?

I asked you not to call me a whiner and you did it again... don't play a victim...

You can have the opposite opinion of me without attempting to reduce me to a whining child...

You accused me. I asked you not to. You did it again. Again I asked you not to again then you say I threatened you.

I ask you if you've received a warning from me?

The answer is no as I don't play that game. Don't insinuate that I do...

I think it's BS you are playing some sort of victim...

I call that a threat and since for some reason you had to tell me twice that is how I take it.

Thats your perogative. You are displaying to me your power of being a mod for some reason and I dont get it, I have talk to you a million times on here and all of a sudden you are giving me the dont say that or else stuff.

I think its BS and it is not how I would talk to people.

but like I said you are a mod, so its your perogative to do what you want.
