You know it amazes me that Jerry hasnt stooped to cheating . I wonder if Dak could throw a better ball if it was deflated . And how could our defense defend if we knew what play was coming.

Man, I’d like to see some suspensions around here for more than drugs and DV.

If only winning football games was as easy as stealing hand signals.

Dan Orlofsky was on the Will Cain show this afternoon. He was a back-up QB in the NFL for several teams. His job during games was literally to shadow the oppositions defensive play caller and figure out the hand signals. Is that cheating? Nope. Every team in the league tapes the opposing sideline. What you can't do is use the tape in real time during the game. But you can file it away and use it later. Smart teams don't use the same signals every game for this reason. But everyone is trying to steal the oppositions play calls. This is not new , and the Patriots didn't invent it.

Now carry on in the absurd belief that if only the cowboys "cheated" , they would be as successful as NE.

Jerry ordered Garrett to follow Bill's lead on this.

Unfortunately, sending a camera crew to the Browns-Bengals game didn't help us very much.

I'm not sure if you can call it cheating, but remember 2010 when there wasn't a salcap? Jerry got in trouble for contract violations.

As far as the bold is concerned, I found deflategate very interesting for one reason. It was the perfect scandal if you wanted to find out who never played a down a football in their lives. Just listen to a person's opinion on that topic.

How much do you want to bet the Cowboys don’t change their hand signals. Too complicated for these prima donnas to remember.

Garret has said many times over the years that it doesn't matter if the opponent knows what's coming if you execute. We aren't a clever team or one that's always looking for an advantage. We do what we do and that's how the team is coached.

Dead serious. Jerry would appear to me the kind of owner we’d expect some cheating from.

Shoot, he pursues problem players most Owners wouldn’t touch for a competitive edge he’s had his hand slapped for with fines. Why stop there.?

There's an old saying about stock car racing "If you ain't cheatin', you ain't tryin""

That applies to the NFL as well...

That statement alone is grounds for termination for incompetence.

Do the Cowboys even use hand signals?

Probably not. Cowboys signals are more like.

Obvious passing down. Defense shows blitz.

“Kill, kill, kill”. They just switched to a run.

Obvious run down. Bring up the safeties.
“Kill, Kill, Kill” They just switched to a pass.

This mindset is baffling to me. That's 50% of the game. The only thing I can think of is that he's thinking 90s Cowboys. The defenses knew it was coming, try and stop it. The one thing he is forgetting is that Jimmy Johnson ran every play from under center. That was archaic even for the 90s. But Jimmy was smart, he didn't want the defense to have any other clue besides down and distance as to whether they were passing or running.

Anyone that watched that 49ers/Saints game could see the offenses used a lot of creative misdirection. That was the reason so many points were scored. In a rare event the offense had the defense back on their heels. I am predicting right now if they meet again in the playoffs it will be a bit lower scoring.

It wasn't cheating, but he got treated as if it were cheating. There was no salary cap that year. The owners decided on a gentlemen's agreement to put a salary cap in place. (Illegally, mind you. What they did was illegal.). The Cowboys and Commanders said screw that and ignored the illegal cap.... then the NFL came down hard on them for it.
