They reported in Boston that they were trying to work a trade with Dallas. Sounds like we went chose Cook, or we're going to try to get Koppen through waivers.

It has to be a tough day for Tom Brady. Branch and Koppen were among his closest friends on the team. The Koppen news does not come as a great surprise, although it could not have been easy for Bill Belichick considering Koppen's long history with the team. Koppen has struggled to recover from injuries.

He only played in one game last season and he fractured his ankle last year in week 1.

Koppen is better than Cook, but Cook is healthier than Koppen.

Probably at the center position yeah, but Koppen can't play guard or tackle... He's too small.
