Patriots to keep the 49ers Pick if they make PO

Per Boston herald, the Patriots will loose their first round pick, not the one they recieved from the 49ers if they make the playoffs.

As a point of clarification, the Patriots will keep the first round pick they acquired from the 49ers on draft day. If they’re docked a first-rounder, it will be their own. It will also be low, since they’ll only lose a first rounder if they make the playoffs.​

They traded for that pick. So I don't see why they would lose it. That would penalize them both in the 2007 draft and the 2008 one

Harsh punishment indeed. I'm so upset by this slap on the wrist, after what happened to Wade Wilson that I hardly have any respect for Goodell now. Coaches must be held to a higher standard. Yeah, unless your a HEAD coach and you work for his buddy Kraft!

Exactly, why punish the Pats because the 9ers are stupid enough to trade a first rounder?
