Patriots Trades

that's why they keep winning superbowls every year they are so far ahead of the rest of the league probably greatest coach and qb and team ever in the nfl

Allen was traded for a fourth and sixth rounder. But yeah, your point is valid.

How the heck do these guys pull off these trades? Dwayne Allen for a 6th? Kony Ealy to switch spots with their 2nd and the Panthers 3rd?!?! Crazy...

I don't know. I've thought that teams are wary of trading with us ever since we did the Herschel Walker deal. We haven't really been able to trade players since (although we've had a couple of minor deals). Somehow, though, New England is able to get teams to trade with them all the time.

We'll see. This does reek of loading up for one final run, which never seems to work. But maybe that's just the "half-full" Romosexual talking.

I am kind of baffled teams keep making deals with the Patriots honestly.

Cooks is 23, and if he came out in the draft knowing what we know about him now he'd be a top 10 pick... 1,000+ yards 8+ TDs each of the last 2 seasons. The Pats got him for the equivalent of like #29 (give up #32 + #103, get #118.) And he has 2 years on his rookie deal still. Like, are you kidding me? I think the Saints are so desperate for draft capital to upgrade their horrid D that they let themselves get played.

The others are classic "pay a little for young guys with upside" deals. They won't all work out, but if you do 4 of them and get 1 quality player you still came out way ahead.

Easy Patriots are a better run organization with a better GM and Coach. They will make the playoffs yet again net year idk if they will make the superbowl but they have a great chance to barring key injuries.
