Patriots vs Colts ***Game Thread***

Once the Chargers blew it, it was just a matter of playing out the string.

There is zero doubt that the only reason BP ever won a SB was due to Belichick and the rest of his staff.

Yeah, I don't know how Manning gets all the blame for these games. It's not his fault that his team members don't step up.

The really said truth to this is that there was a time when our Cowboys were considered the Yanks of professional football.

<Sigh>

Manning takes a ton of crap for his playoff performances, but is there a less clutch receiver than Marvin Harrison? Everyone loves his low-key nature, but when the big lights come on, he gets small. Terrible big-game receiver, and he's costing the Colts as much as Peyton, and has in the past.

Agreed. Harrison never should have thrown that interception.

Jarv,

You can go to patriotsplanet.com, or just patriots.com.

Patriotsplanet has more posts -- pretty flexible. The official site of the Pats, patriots.com -- I still go there a lot.

Should be a fun game in Dallas next year.

Me, I'm a football fan too. Only really one team I really, really don't like -- that would be the Steelers.

Honestly, I have never seen a team get away with as much holding on the offensive line as the Pats. It's no wonder Brady is a great QB.

Bears D will give them a shot. Are the Pats gonna be the favorites? of course they are, they have earned it. but just because they might be the better team it doesnt mean they are gonna win. i truly believe it will be a close game either way.

The Patriots wont make the bushleague mistakes the Saints made to gift the Bears an easy 16 points. I guarantee it.

I doubt it'll be close. The Pats with their experience in big games and Brady and their luck vs. an upstart like the Bears with Grossman.

This is the biggest lock since the '85 Bears.

At least I don't have to look at his face next year.

Somehow I think his face will show up in Miami year after next. Darn, can't he just go to the NFC already.

Sooo, will this be like Bum Phillips in Houston?

Always good enought to play the Steelers in the AFC Championship game, but never good enough to win and go to the Super Bowl?

Let's hope the Colts don't make the same mistake and fire Dungy...After Houston fires Bum, they never sniffed the same success that they did during that time.

i would guarantee that as well. But i do think they can get a couple of Brady Int and take advantage. they have done that All year and Brady hasnt been very good so far this post-season

i wonder when people are going to start giving belichek is due and start mentioning his name with the greats and maybe even the greatest of all time. belichek has built a dynasty in the freeagent era. he's going to be in 4 of the last 5 superbowls. thats amazing. i'd say alot more amazing then dallas 3in 4 yrs. and this all has to due with the freeagent era. back in the 60's, 70's, 80's and early 90's teams never really lost key players. and this yr new england isnt even one of the best teams talent wise in the league. but they have a coach and assitants who know the game. shoot give me mcdaniel(ne's OC) as the cowboys next coach. he basically has a patchwork offense with all the losses they had to wr's. they have bradie with no backup, and have one of the best offensive lines in quite some time. belichek is really a genius. and IMO i think he's the greatest of all time.
