Brady's dinking and dunking is making Romo's similarly challenged effort on Sunday look like David Klingler in the run and shoot. But they'll still be fine... they're in the AFC Least.

Brady, while a good QB, has been massively overrated his entire career. He's not the best QB of his generation. For 12 years I've heard from Patriots fans that it doesn't matter who his receivers are, he just makes them better. Well, here are the results.

I'd argue the Patriots' organization has taken its collective arrogance to new heights in assembling this year's roster. Brady has shown he can do a lot with midlevel receivers. So the Patriots hand him a pair of undrafted rookies? Yuck.

This isn't about Brady. This is about an organization that has severely underrated the importance of keeping players who can actually play the game at a high level.

That game was ugly. And to top it off, lets fight because the ball carrier would rather show off then run out of bounds.

Worst division in the NFL, Patriots included.

For as good as New England has been for 10-plus years, it's amazing how bad its division has been. The wildcat-era Dolphins probably rank up there as one of the top-three toughest divisional opponents during that stretch.

A very quick check adding them up in my head has the Pats at 30-6 in their division since and including the perfect 07 season.

I'd love to see the collection of quarterbacks they faced during that stretch. It's a phenomenal record regardless, but the level of ineptitude they've faced in that division is pretty amazing.

Reminds me of the NFC West when it was Us and the 49ers. They got a first round bye by default just for showing up.

The Patriots/Bills/Jets are begging the Dolphins to take the division, boy do those 3 look pitiful. My prediction is that Miami will come out on top in the AFC East as division winners. Patriots will go 8-8 or 9-7 only because of Brady.

Excellent post. I agree, they have always turned below average guys into decently solid players but man they really have a weak bunch in there right now and look to be in serious trouble. Brady can yell all he wants but you can't get blood out of a turnip. The Pats organization screwed Brady this year. Luckily the guy I was playing in fantasy last night had him as his QB.
