Pats Fans' Meltdown

I would never wish such an injury on any player, and I can just imagine how it felt for Pats fans because I felt sick when I saw Romo wincing in that three-man pileup the other day. Still, some of the reactions I've seen on some Patriots message boards and from friends I have who are Pats fans are ridiculous and hilarious. For instance: Today I asked one of my buddies who works at a local school how he was taking it all (before the press conference) and this was his response:

"It wasn't that bad. Belichick and Brady are smart. The injury will keep him sideline for a few weeks, but he'll be back and better than ever. They're probably the ones releasing the info that it's season ending just to fool all the other teams. That's how smart they are. Brady will be back by Week 4. If worse comes to worse, Cassell and the team will want it even more for Brady since he's hurt. Cassell is probably in Romo and Manning's class."

I told him that I had to go. I was speechless. Are all the Pats Fans this blinded by how bad their situation is?

Theyll be fine they have Moss.

Hes done a lot with way worse talent before and hes as good as ever.

Need proof or just have a bad memory?

Im not predicting them to win the superbowl but as long as they have Moss they'll be in the hunt.

felt bad for Brady. would be numb if Romo was injured like that. that said, it was amusing watching Bilicheat on ESPN this afternoon being all flustered. Running the table in the regular season just ain't gonna happen now. But they play in a crappy division, so winning it may not even be a challenge.

I was actually going to question your memory.

Good 'ole Moss has a nice track record of melting down without a QB to throw to him, and then going into a mental coma and refusing to play soon after.

Oh, I'm sorry, maybe we are talking about a different Randy Moss? :lmao:

Denial, grief, and then finally acceptance. This will be the pattern the fans will follow. It's just hard to know how much time they will spend in each stage.

Is this your attempt at sarcasm or did you forget the Oakland Moss???

Hey I also got laughed at when I told everyone he would explode and be one of the best in the game again when New England traded for him.

This guy made an Old, washed up Cunningham a Pro Bowler. He made Jeff George look like All world, we all know about Culpepper.

Plus all those guys who had career days everytime a Minnesotta Quarterback got hurt.

With that schedule they have and the talent they have they can throw it up to Moss and still go 10-6, 11-5, or 12 - 4.

I'll never understand a Cowboy fan doubting Randy Moss's Capabilities. Learn your lesson.

You have one stupid friend.

I can't believe a Chief player would be so dirty as to go for a QB's knees

Signed

Richard Seymour and Rodney Harrison

You can add Vince Wilfork to that list. They showed the play again today of the late hit he delivered to JP Losman's knee with his elbow. Dirty as dirty can be. The Cheatriots are getting some serious karma payback and I love every minute of it.
