Pats Fans React to Milton Trade

Ha yeah.

I’d say best case scenario here is Dak gets hurt, Milton replaces him and balls out, then they talk Dak into a trade and roll with Uncle Milty.

I don’t see a scenario where this works out if Prescott doesn’t miss time. I admit that’s probably going to happen given that hammy, but I still say the timing was way off to bring in someone like this at this time….and if they weren’t confident in Dak, why sign him to a record deal and agree to a structure that doesn’t allow them to move on until at least year three?

Either rebuild or don’t. It’s always some half measure with these two that always falls short as a result.
So we go into training camp with just Will Grier?

Here you go...

"Mike Reiss speculated that locker room dynamics had something to do with it."

In plain sight. Stop your ignorance or refusal to comprehend what the Patriots fan said.
No, there is no evidence that Milton is a problem in the locker room other than being in Drake Maye’s head. Drake felt the heat of a good player behind him. Milton has a rocket arm, is accurate and athletic. He is maligned for not having touch passing skills. Just like Dak who still can’t pass a wheel route accurately. Dak is awful at touch passes.

You can hate Dak all you want. That is your right. But stop with the bull by stating Dak has no touch on his passes.

Watch some of the most beautiful touch passes thrown in 2023 by our very own Dak Prescott...

Just do the right thing bro. Admit you were wrong and apologize for spreading false information. I trust you have integrity and will do it.

You still need a backup QB, and I like this guy better than Grier and better than drafting a rookie as the backup. Plus, he’s much cheaper than signing a journeyman vet as the backup.

The Pats are in a different position than Dallas. A guy like Milton might have more value to them than Dallas has because the Cowboys think they have their franchise QB in Dak. Pats fans think Milton could be their starter.

Honestly, I don't understand all the hoopla over basically a backup QB.

Milton is known for is inaccuracy. Elongated release, slow decision maker, stares down targets.

Drake did not feel the heat of a good player behind him. In a QB starved NFL, if Milton were really that highly regarded he'd have brought a high draft pick, possibly a slew of them.

Maybe we traded for him to play TE.

No worries Corso, i'll bring this up in the next mod meeting!! I got you buddy!
Keeping the dream alive, eh?

To be fair there was another post here yesterday with their board and many were fine with it saying he got one game vs backups and that he was in Maye’s way. They were fine with it. Just throwing that out. I like the trade for us but don’t think the handwringing by Pats is extreme

This Patriots fan's comment paints Milton as a locker room clown. SMH

My post had nothing to do with Dak. I've never been shy to show support for Dak, but since I didn't, it is crystal clear Dak lives in your hateful heart 24/7.

Go get help (including those who liked your ignorant comment). ASAP

SMH
Somebody noticed you latched on to the negatives right off the bat.

Don't be mad that it says a lot about you.

I voiced a concern. Dak is stil your QB. Get over it.

BTW, I tried to create a very pro-Milton thread with 3 videos and lots of good information about him. For some reason, it was not allowed to be posted for all to see. Probably some Dak critic not wanting me to look good in front of all of you haters by creating a very good pro-Milton thread.

Okay...that's fine.

Have to check your sources, some aren't allowed. Also, try a shorter OP / thread. Make sure to wait for it's review and upload. Then you can add more to it.

BTW...just for the record...when have you EVER seen me call for Dak's demise? Just assuming something and auto-lumping it in with your...rival combatants... takes away your cred. I sit firmly in the middle...yes...waffling back and forth....just about like every other player that has to prove themselves every year, every game, every play.

For a few games he is, but, as usual, time to see the DR., again.

Locker room chemistry?

Dude was a rookie third-string QB -- how could a guy like that do anything to disrupt a locker room?
If he thought he was better than Drake Maye and wasn't given a fair chance. That would piss anyone off.
