Pats Last TD Was A Slap/Spit in the Face!!

Ok Zoners I understand the argument that you must play until the clocks hits zero. And I realize that the Pats are a very good team and the Cowboys have alot to work on to get to their level. I will even give way to the fact that teams look forward to rubbing our face in the mudd if they see us laying on the ground!

But with less than 30 seconds left on the clock in the fourth quarter and up by TWO touchdowns and its fourth and goal on the 2 yard line and Coach Belicheat elects to run it in for a touchdown is low down and dirty.

I noticed how Wade was rather pissed after the game and didnt seem like he wanted to shake BB hand.

I just hope that we get another chance at these a holes because I have lost all respect for the franchise.

No it wasn't. They just wanted to run out the clock. If we stop them, we get the ball and can run out the clock. They were actually trying not to score. Yet they scored.

I guess they could have kneeled on it, but that's just silly.

Umm, remember TO's td against the TExans last year thrown by Romo. That was alot worse than yesterday.

No it wasn't. They just wanted to run out the clock. If we stop them, we get the ball and can run out the clock. They were actually trying not to score. Yet they scored.

I guess they could have kneeled on it, but that's just silly.

Maybe Bellichek didn't want to score, but their 3rd string RB sure as hell wanted that TD on his stat sheet.

I always find it more of a slap in the face when teams call off the dogs and take it easy on you. After getting the 1st down no doubt the Pats could have kneeled on it 3 times and the game would have been over but they choose to run plays which is fine by me

I don't mind cause it don't matter. On to the Vikings, the Pats game is over and we will need to win a whole lot of games if we want a second chance at them this season.

I'm not concerned at all about that last TD... Our defensive line was totally worn out by the game...

It was the penalties that bothered me and our third down defense...

I think the reason they scored is because they didn't even want people to have a chance to say the game was close. People that didn't see the game will look at that score and say, "Wow, the Cowboys got blown out." even though it was close till pretty much the 4th quarter.

It really doesn't matter. We lost, lost big in 4th quarter. We did held up pretty good until late 3rd quarter. Whether we lost by 14 or 21 points doesn't matter, I'm over it and looking forward to Vikings game.

Please stop crying already my gosh. If Wade Phillips didnt call a time out they would of ran out the clock long before they got to the endzone. Besides that does it really matter that we lost by 21 instead of 14? Get over it already.

Stop him, plain and simple. You don't stop him, the score looks like a blowout. The "D" gave up on that last NE drive, they deserved to get embarrassed. Maybe it serves as a wake up call for the Vikes. 14 pts, 21 pts. who cares, the "D" couldn't stop the Pats all game long.

That is exactly what happened... they ran it up, because they wanted to give the impression that it was a blow-out... good for them... the fact is, we spoted them a 14 pt lead... by the last quarter of the 3rd, we were up 24-21, meaning we came right back at the "Mighty Patriots"... if the team is as great as people proclaim, it wouldn't have happened... heck, they needed some cheap PI call to get ahead.. our primary breakdown, as TO said, was mental breakdowns...

people make it seem as if Patriots didn't play their best, but we clearly didn't play our best... I am not overawed by the Patriots team, and the hype is over-exxaggeated....

These complaint threads make us sound like whiny losers who don't belong on the same field as the Patriots.

We need to take our medicine and play better in the future so teams aren't in a position to embarass us.

I agree. I don't see how some can talk about other teams fans the way some whine around here. 5-1 and sitting better than many teams around the NFL right now.
