Pittsburgh DT Aaron Donald is a possibility for the Cowboys' first-round pick, reports draft insider's Tony Pauline.

Donald is a decent three technique fit with the Cowboys, who will likely use the draft to secure Jason Hatcher's replacement. Ware situation is big on what they decide to do
DT is a need but with RD1 talent OL could be taken over DT
Dallas could upgrade SAM
Dallas has young safties they like

At DE I would be happy with this... Big, fast, and disruptive at END. ... not DT.

We basically have no certainty at DL anywhere on the roster. Way to suss it out, Tony Pauline.

We are the only team in the NFL to have not drafted a DL in RD 1 or 2 since 2007…and technically that was an OLB (Spencer). If not him, we're the only team to have not drafted one since 2005 (Ware/Spears). Almost 10 years.

Pauline sounds like a genius.
If it were me-the Cowboys would come out of this draft with at least three dlineman and a bunch more UDFA's. This group has to be priority #1 and it's not close.
