Not sure where this thread belongs, so feel free to move it if there is a more appropriate location.
This afternoon, I was listening to the local Denver sports radio station. I thought it would be interesting given the Broncos are our second regular season game. The portion of the show I caught focused on the quarterback position and the OL. As Paxton Lynch was in the Cowboy's radar during the draft, I found the comments about Lynch nothing short of shocking. Basically, the commentators (which included 2 former Broncos) described Lynch as a "punch the clock" kind of guy. He puts in the bare minimum time at the training facility. Once his game or practice time is over, he is on the bench taking a break or basically disengaged. In contrast, Treavor Seimian was described as someone that lived at the facility - constantly reviewing film and working on his technique. After he is pulled from a preseason game, he has the headset on and is constantly in the OC's ear. Disregarding Dak's success, it frankly sounds like the Cowboys dodged a bullet.
With regard to the OL, there was a 15-20 minute discussion about the interior line - who was playing well, who was struggling and not a single word about Leary. I thought, maybe he's injured, but couldn't find a single news article to that effect. Interesting
