Not only is he a great talent but can you imagine most elite WRs in a contract year behaving like Dez?

He is the first one there celebrating with Williams and his reaction when his TD was overturned and Murray scored was priceless.

Exactly.

He is also calm because he knows regardless of what the stat line might say, there is a thing called film, and the fact teams know his talent.

He will get paid, regardless if we want to or not.

Love this player. You can really see him taking the next step in his career as his leadership skills continue to develop.

I clicked on this thread just to give you a like. ...the thread tile said it all! But your post is even more on point. We need to figure out how to keep as much of the core group together for the next 3-4 years.

I'd rather we didn't sink a ton of money into Dez but you know Jerry is going to. There's no question about it.

Well, if your going to buy a Jersey and don't want to buy another for a good while, this would be a good bet.

And every other owner in the NFL if they had the chance.

You pay players like Dez because they're game changers. Period.

Going into the season I had my doubts about throwing the big money at him. Combination of not entirely trusting his attitude and not thinking it is wise to put all those eggs in the WR basket.

Since then he has fed me back my words on a weekly basis.

Sign the man.

My friends who are Jets fans are dreaming about him. They are waiting for him to become free agent. You think any chance he becomes free agent?

There is no reason to rush it. Dez had a good game but what is really making Dallas effective is secondary players (Williams, Escobar, Randle, Dunbar). If Dez price is too high and you end up loosing alot of those players I mentioned....they will simple take Dez out game and then were 8-8 again.

How many game changers win Super Bowls? Randy Moss? Terrell Owens, Calvin Johnson, etc... You need to afford to put a TEAM on the field.
