Payton and the Packers..

While its not set in stone, Cold Pizza on ESPN had the Pack getting Sean Payton.....if so, be careful for what you wish for....many fans have been calling for his head as well as Zimmers....if he goes then who???? and dont give me Saunders, Martz and Norv please.....Payton is a good OC, just needs to be left alone....so I ask who gets the OC if he goes???

and I really hope Zimmer and Payton dont go, at least not both...replacing 2 Coordinators is tough, although it may seem like a great move, that can backfire real quick...

I want Patyon to stay myself. We have no one qualified on staff to replace him and I think he's a good coach who could get better in time.

Our offense has done absolutely nothing for the past 5 or more years....NOTHING! We need someone with at least ONE creative bone in his body. I'm so sick of predictable play calling I could puke.....

The only games on record I can remember where the defense could not consistently predict the calls were against Carolina and Philly.....that was it.

Don't confuse poor oline play with absolutely NO creativity. In Carolina I saw different looks that I haven't seen all year. Why do we only see this on one or two games???

Execution...absolutely...in order to succeed you must execute, but it is a he11 of a lot harder to do when the defense knows what's coming.

Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.......bye bye....don't let the door hit ya in the arse.

Next OC...........don't care! I'll take BP calling plays if needed.

But what makes a play work or not is often blocking. At times our blocking was so bad that we couldn't drop back to pass because Drew would get sacked every time.

Our offense sucked. But if you look at the line play you have to ask how we did anything. Payton got something out of nothing. Teams around the league get it. Some of us don't.

I see it as Payton got nothing out of something....seriously. IMO there were a few game that showed what we could do, but then we'd go right back to the boring ole predictable crap the next five weeks. I have a very hard time beleiving our oline was as horrible as it played...I saw game plans created that did not play to our teams strengths many times. Not always, but way to much.

I just don't think he is ceative....that's just me. I'll take my changces with him gone.

Our woefull offense has Parcells fingerprints all over it. Which would rule out a Norv Turner or Al Saunders. Whoever takes over for Payton, rest assured it will be a nobody.

IIRC Emmitt once said Norv was one of the keys to his success.

Even Lamont Jordan had a decent year under Norv, 1000+ yards and 9 TDs.

That's suicide. If ever there was a orginazation in disarray NO is it at this point. That position could ruin his career/aspirations in the NFL. If he has a brain in his head, he'll decline.

Watching BP and Payton on the sideline, I'm convinced that Payton is not able to call "his" game freely. One game in particular on a 3rd down when Payton called a play and BP looked at him and shook his head like he didn't approve.

The play worked and they got a first down, but you know that constant pressure from BP is affecting his other calls.
