Payton Re-Signed

The idea that Payton would even be interested in coming here is as far fetched as the idea that Garrett would have been fired following this season.

Garrett now feels relieved that the rumors can cease. Meaning he won't be in "do or die" mode Sunday.

We lose by 24

Username and quote are in agreement. Good.

Payton is out doesn't mean that Holmgren, Cowher, Chuckie and some others are not.

I have no interest in any of them. I'll take Garrett over all of them.

Whatever..

Please just find a new playcaller and ill be satisfied until I see more bad game management.

Well, the only thing left is to hope Garrett continues to develop.

Right now all I care about is beating Washington.

I would take Holmgren so he could finish his career with Romo. I believe that's a perfect match.

Other then that I'm fine with more Garrett but I hope we do something about our offense.

Holmgren is way too old. You make a change now, then in 3 years you need to make yet another change.

I much prefer the continuity of keeping Garrett rather than maintaining a merry-go-round at head coach.

If Payton was leaving the Saints, Dallas is where he'd want to be. To describe that as far fetched is really out of touch with reality.

i disagree about holmgren. i would take red over him without a doubt, as much as it pains me to say

I can buy that too.

I just hope our playcalling is handed to someone else.

The next Cowboys offensive coordinator will be...

John Garrett.

We need to hand it to someone who will call plays that don't require NFL talent along the offensive line.

The awesome part is, nobody in the front office gives a rip what you think.

He isn't going anywhere without Mickey Loomis as the GM. There is no way he would ever work for Jerry Jones as a head coach.

Whatever, I was wrong about this, hostile you can choose whatever sig you want me to sport for the month.

I will say this though, I'm not looking forward to another 8-8 season with no playoffs.

I don't see the most penalized team in the NFL entering the playoffs and winning anything. Watch how Jerry and Jason fix our trenches next year. They are like an old rusty car that was recently filled with bondo, the rust will show through again at some point. I'm calling it right now we're finishing 8-8 next year and finishing third in the NFC East.

Don't worry it's a process!!
