Yes, one more "those idiots in Houston" thread.

Two new coaches with the top two picks in the draft:

Kubiak decides to take a DE because of Peyton Manning...please...like 1 DE is going to stop the Indy offense. Mario Williams didn't have the college career that Peppers had...it's well documented that that Williams got most of his sacks against a few totally inferior OTs on 2nd rate teams...he did very little this year against top opponents, including the postseason, yet he got his ranking off measurables.

STill, let's say Mario Williams turns out to be Julius Peppers II...still a ridiculous move. Every team in the league would love to have Julius Peppers, but how many of them would trade their top offensive player for him?

Let's also remember that DL is the all time top position for busts in the draft...HOuston is insane.

Meanwhile, Sean Payton takes the job in N.O. and suddenly adds Drew Brees, who wins over the city by saying he's happy to be there...now Reggie Bush falls into his lap at #2!!! Peyton and N.O. will select Bush unless the offer from the JEts is totally insane...Peyton wins either way. Deuce McAlister missed last season with a knee injury...I'd take Bush...even if Deuce comes back strong, Bush is such a great receiver, you can get him the ball 15 times a game anyway....that N.O. offense would really be scary.

If the JEts make N.O. an offer they can't refuse, they gather more draft picks and probably still sign DeBrickashaw Ferguson for the OL.

Kubiak will rue being a part of the decision to take Williams over Bush no matter what kind of career Williams has. Payton has to feel that he just won the lottery, and N.O. is about to become a player in the NFL again.

that was a B.S. rumor...you can believe that if he really said it, it would be all over ESPN right now. N.O. is certainly a better offense than Houston. Also, Brees called Bush right away last night and said "I know you're disappointed about not going #1 overall, but we're really happy to have you."

N.O. will make Bush the pick unless someone offers them something crazy, a real coup.

Looking at the offenses, N.O. has the best offense of any team in the top 5-6 teams in the draft, not to mention he'll still make huge money at #2....I don't believe one word of that rumor about N.O.

Even God was laughing at this move and thought it was so stupid he sent lightning strikes at Reliant Stadium last night.
