Apparently it wasn't just us. Not sure what's going on here, but the penalty flags are getting ridiculous and making games unwatchable.

Any amount over 20 is definitely excessive. I hope the league looks into this.

They extend the game time, so Goodell will want to lessen the time. Instead of fixing the ref issues, they will find a way to screw with the clock. They won't go as far as reducing time of the quarters and game, but they may just say, clock doesn't stop during penalties except in the last 2 minutes of the half or the game.
Being a bit sarcastic here, but is it really that far off from some sort of rule added. Like starting the clock after a penalty. His regime never fixes the real issues, just try to cover them up.

Has blown calls that end in coaches challenges also up across the league.
Nothing can make that first touchdown not a touchdown. I struggle to remember a play being so clearly a TD that wasn't reversed on replay.

Some was the refs, some was just players screwing up. We made a ton of mistakes.

Just going to throw this out there....the new CBA really dials back the practice times during training camp and preseason. Add in the coaching staffs hold players out in the preaseason.
